First, the receptionist did not see any opening at her site but was so kind to see if there is any opening in another side. She even called me back (w/o being asked) if I want to take over the spot that just came up! Then, Dr Becker... I have not seen the Dr. who examined our difficult dog as thoroughly as Dr. Becker in years and explained her observations and potential treatments we can choose from. She put no pressure to us but helped us select what options we would like to go. Finally, the technician who provided the final shot to our dog was super friendly and communicative. From the start to end, they are all super kind, efficient and effective at their work. Cannot thank them more...

She's incredibly smart, compassionate, and genuinely cares about the animals she treats. Even though she's very busy, she always makes herself available and takes the time to listen and make sure I feel comfortable with what's being recommended for our little pup. I really appreciate that she's open to feedback and easy to talk to. I trust her advice and also think she's just a really cool person. The office staff is also great. They're kind, friendly, and usually try to to get back to me quickly. I've only met one of the other vets, Dr. Becker, but she was also fantastic. Highly recommend!

I've taken her too many places to get her anal glands, excreted,, and this was the first place that they told me that I should sedate her with trazodone and gabapentin before I brought her in. To be honest with you, the Vet tech was quite rude. I was pretty taken a back, considering I've taken her to many other places, and they just put a small muzzle on her and extract her with no problem. Their rebuttal, was that they had a different philosophy and that if I didn't sedate her that doing the extraction could injure her. I laughed because I had a Chihuahua and they muzzled my Chihuahua six months ago. So they are being pretty hypocritical. Basically I'm upset because I had been a loyal client for over 15 years with multiple pets, and since I disagreed with their tactics of sedating my dog before an anal gland excretion... They thought it would be best if I'd go somewhere else. They also said that sofie had deep anxiety and was in a state of fear. Sofie was uncomfortable, but so are most dogs going to the vet. I've never had this problem with this vet team. But, the dynamics have changed and Dr.G would rather drug my dog than put a muzzle on her. Yet.. they felt good putting a muzzle on my 17 year old Chihuahua 6 months ago. Definitely going somewhere else where the veterinarian team are more confident in their skills, professional and know how to communicate. They definitely have a lack of loyalty.

From the moment we walked in, I felt that she was in very good hands. My mom recently passed away, and I have since taken over the care of her beloved senior dog. One of my biggest priorities has been finding a reliable, compassionate veterinary hospital that I can trust to care for her whenever she needs it. I can honestly say that finding Animal Cove has given me so much peace of mind. Not only was the care excellent, but the cost was also very reasonable. What stood out to me most was that I never felt like it was just about the money. Dr. G genuinely seems to care about his patients and their owners. He has even taken the time to check in on my dog through text messages and has been kind enough to answer my questions without requiring me to bring her in for another examination unnecessarily. That level of compassion and consideration has been incredibly reassuring. Dr. G and his staff are professional, efficient, compassionate, and truly take the time to listen and answer questions. As someone who is navigating the responsibility of caring for my mom's beloved dog while also grieving the loss of my mom, having a veterinarian I can trust means more to me than words can express. I am so grateful to have found Animal Cove, and I highly recommend Dr. G and his wonderful team to anyone looking for a veterinary hospital that genuinely cares. Thank you for taking such good care of my little girl and for giving me the peace of mind of knowing she is in good hands

From the moment we walked in, we were met with so much kindness and compassion. Maria and Kara greeted us at the front desk and were both incredibly sweet. I explained that my sweet Maya, a Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix, is very anxious around strangers. They immediately brought us back to a room, got us settled, and allowed me to hold my baby while they took care of the paperwork. That small gesture meant so much to both of us. Everyone who came in to check on Maya was gentle and compassionate. When they needed to take her to the back, they reassured us that she was doing okay and made sure to check in with us and provide updates about every 30 minutes or so. After each procedure, they would bring Maya back to me so I could hold her. They understood that being with me helped her feel safe and at ease, and I will never forget that. Dr. Hart was incredibly kind and patient. She answered all of our questions and took the extra time to explain everything because she could see how worried I was about Maya. More importantly, she understood that my priority was not pursuing curative treatment at all costs, but making decisions based on Maya's **quality of life**. She truly listened to me, respected what I wanted for my baby, and helped ease some of the fear and uncertainty I was feeling. I cannot express enough gratitude for the love, compassion, and dignity they showed Maya. During one of the most frightening and emotional moments for us, they made us feel heard, cared for, and safe. And Kara was absolutely wonderful. Before we left, she took the time to answer all of my questions, provide education, and make sure I understood everything. She was so warm and comforting that she truly made me feel at home. I will forever be grateful to Maria, Kara, Dr. Hart, and the entire team for the love and care they provided to my Maya. Thank you for treating her not just like a patient, but like the precious member of our family that she is.
