They basically said, "we can find an issue it with it, if you want" How I took is "F" off we fixed it. We won't be going back. Good luck to anyone who uses them. I'm sure they have their strong points, but telling us to basically screw off isn't the way. I wish their business the best.

Afterwards, my problem was addressed and my truck drives straight. Overall very pleasant experience and wait time was about an hour for the alignment. Would recommend to anyone interested in some honest work, and I will personally come back here again.

I walked up to the Oroville fish hatchery and then to a coffee shop just up the street. Went back to the shop about 9:40 and they said it was almost done. They had me out of there by 10am. Extra care was taken with a plastic seat cover and floor mat protection which was appreciated as the interior is new. I always enjoy the team at Grumpy's and to see all of the great projects and upgrades the car customers are having done here. Grumpy's has done a ton of work on our car and they have always kept me updated on any challenges and concerns to include any costs associated with finding something unexpected. I have seen other reviews from customers who have faced some challenges Which can be very frustrating, but I have never had this experience. The team at Grumpy's have always been very professional, with great care taken with my car and the work being performed. I just can't see myself not being able to navigate a conversation to a positive outcome with the team at Grumpy's.

There was a glitch in communications between my CARB account and the NVD upload, but Jeremy went well above anything I could have expected. Customer service matters! And that is exactly what I got for my dollars from Jeremy and NVD. There is no doubt that any other shop would have turned my wallet inside-out based on the CARB difficulties, but Jeremy was straight up honest and really wanted to see me through this. The problem was with CARB (pretty sure a fault with my account setup - my mistake), not NVD. I will say, CARB did properly, and quickly, communicate with NVD and they eventually worked it out, so kudos to BOTH of them. I very highly recommend North Valley Diesel in Yuba City. You get what you pay for along with a lot of honesty, proper communication and effort to get the job done. The free rides they provided me really were a HUGE help, and the office staff (I'm so sorry I can't remember names!) are super friendly and efficient. I was in a bind with an alternator that went out and, as with Lexus, the factory one was pretty pricey. Being honest, the lady on the phone told me they won't install anything other than OEM for something like an alternator when I told her I couldn't really afford it at that time and asked if they'd install a cheaper non-oem one. So she then did some more digging and was able to save a lot of money on an OEM she found but it wouldn't arrive until the next day and then they'd install it. I was so thankful. BUT THEN! She called a few hours later and said that the owner actually went out and found one locally and picked it up for me, it wasn't the cheaper price but they still honored the price AND my car was already done and ready to pick up! This saved me from having to arrange for a ride from and to work from Paradise the next day to pick up my car. Just outstanding customer service and great work. There's no pressure and they really really know what they're doing. I would take any car there they'd work on, not just Toyota/Lexus. My mother in law also has taken her Toyota there for over 15 years. I very highly recommend them.

Three weeks later he called me to tell me they can't work on the car but he will give me an estimate what it needs and how much it will cost. When i came to pick up the car it was all dusty and the roof and trunk were covered in oil. He came out apologized and kinda wiped it then charged me $160 for an estimate that he did not have ready and told me that he will email it to me and I am still waiting on that email since 12/5/2023. Very disappointing

I don't normally write poor reviews as I understand businesses can have bad days or even just bad…read moremoments in time, but this place has been a sore thumb in my experience over a period of years. Starting off with the most basic of things, the smell! As a person in the dental office, I am used to smelling foul things from materials to rotting teeth to gum disease and bad body odor. When I came into the office I could smell someone's gum disease all the way from the door! Alright, it sucks, not my place to put my nose in, but when I brought in my father's car for a valve cover gasket change, his car went from the smell of Mercedes leather to pungent sulfurous smell of gun disease that won't go away! It's straight up nasty... Talking about the work of valve cover gasket, I had them do it and they did do the job quickly. Conveniently just down the street from me where I could walk to go pick up the car! After just over 2 years and less than 5k miles with the car, I was made aware by another mechanic of its valve cover gasket leaking! Called them up and was told they would take a look and take care of me. They took the car in, told me some BS about the gasket is not an issue and that it's just sweating... in my 30 years of dealing with all sorts of cars, I've never had anyone call gaskets sweating nor is it a normal occurrence to keep on watching. Charged me for looking at the work they did, wouldn't warranty it and sent me back on my way. Previously brought my father's Porsche Cayenne diesel for catalytic converter falling. The owner said these things happen and they have dealt with this before where they would clean the cat and be fine. Brought the car in and had them work on it. Week later I get a call that they tried their tricks and didn't work so it would be thousands of dollar for their work that didn't fix the problem. And oh by the way, the car still has a warranty at the dealership so why don't you call them up and get it done there? Wow, thanks for the heads up after charging me thousands first. Lastly, customer service is non existent! Call and you are told to book it online, got questions about service? Book it online. It's like they don't want to waste time talking to you ever. Thankfully I've been in touch with Stewart's automotive in Sacramento off Stockton blvd exit from I50 and I would gladly pay for AAA to get my cars there than to roll my car down the hill into this place. Hope this place gets better and have someone's gum disease taken care off

I drove five minutes after the first repair and had to bring the car back. That turned into thousands more in repairs. Picked it up again, drove out of the parking lot, and yet another issue broke down immediately. This felt like an endless money trap. No accountability, no quality control, and no explanation. On top of that, communication was awful -- I had to repeatedly call just to get basic updates. They never proactively reached out. This was one of the most frustrating service experiences I've ever had. I would give minus stars if that were possible. Avoid unless you enjoy wasting time and money.

I live in Sutter and they even give me a ride home while I wait for repair and then come get me went it is ready. Used them twice and now won't go any where else. Thanks you guys, you are great.
