Joe answered my call quickly and provided an estimate, and could be available as early as next day. I was initially a tiny bit worried about some of the reviews I read about scheduling/showing up, but Joe put my worries at ease and communicated with me within a reasonable amount of time and showed up when he said he would. He and his partner were communicative, kind, trustworthy, knowledgeable and skilled at what they do. They worked on our car repair in the pouring rain with no complaints! I would recommend them again and again and again. The mobile aspect was extremely appreciated and so valuable - we didn't need to worry about a tow or timing logistics to get the car to a shop before they close (because come on, most people work!) They basically said, "we can find an issue it with it, if you want" How I took is "F" off we fixed it. We won't be going back. Good luck to anyone who uses them. I always enjoy the team at Grumpy's and to see all of the great projects and upgrades the car customers are having done here. Grumpy's has done a ton of work on our car and they have always kept me updated on any challenges and concerns to include any costs associated with finding something unexpected. I have seen other reviews from customers who have faced some challenges Which can be very frustrating, but I have never had this experience. The team at Grumpy's have always been very professional, with great care taken with my car and the work being performed. I just can't see myself not being able to navigate a conversation to a positive outcome with the team at Grumpy's.

For one, I agree with the below review, the lady they have working in the office is blatantly rude, talks a lot and over you, interrupts you when you have points of concern to mention. If you agree to their BS she is fine, the minute you question items or express concerns she will talk over you and shut you up rudely. As it has happened to me. Took many of my cars in for work over a span of several years of continual work, anytime a car goes in it typically comes back out with unresolved items forcing a second repair visit for another large invoice, or it comes back for a different issue. Seems like every-time my cars have visited the shop it always comes back worse than it went in. Given their expensive rates and poor quality - I would strongly recommend you take your car to a different shop over Grumpys. Very poor quality work, fail to standby work by having you talk to the dumb blonde girl who thinks she can talk fast and use fancy words to discredit and undermine a customers thoughts or concern. Save your money and go to a better shop. Let alone the fact I caught one of their employees running errands and joy riding my car while it was supposed to be in for repair only.

It was a Saturday so…read moreafter waiting until Monday morning I received a call from Omar at 8:15am sharp the service advisor. He told me they were going to work on it right away and so I said great! After confirming that the water pump had broken and that they could have it repaired the same day I was very surprised and impressed. I did get a little concerned with the estimate but up to this point everything had gone better then expected so I went ahead and told them to get it repaired. Later that afternoon I got a call telling me that The job was done so I went in and picked it up after they let me know about a payment option which I qualified for and all was good again in my life!! The job carries a two year or 20,000 mile warranty and I even had my original cost for the inspection returned to me which I needed. I highly recommend dirks transmission and repairs to anyone with a small to large repair and need it done quickly and with complete professionalism. I will be going back for any future repairs and maintenance needed on my daily driver C6 Corvette 2008. Thanks Omar and the entire staff at Dirks auto repair. I wanted to post an update as of the end of the week of the repairs being completed and I did take my car back to Dirks because of a smell of antifreeze and just wanted to be safe. So there was a small leak in a heater hose that went undetected during the final pressure test performed. Omar told me to bring it in and we can take a second look so I did and it does happen, there was a small leak in a heater hose and it needed to be replaced as well.
