Dr. Liu is our primary doctor but we have seen Dr. Davari for last minute visits due to unexpected illness. Dr. Liu has always been very thorough and conservative in care. She would rather be safe than sorry. After each birth she makes it a point to check in with me as the mom and offer advice and always takes time to answer ask our questions. Dr. Davari has always been very comforting and reassuring each time I have spoken with him on the phone and also when we saw him in person. I feel good knowing that I trust with doctor with the care of my children. I am also very grateful for their after hours answering service. For emergencies they can take messages and forwardd them to the doctor that is on call. This is such a reassuring service!

She said she couldn't do that because the primary HAS to be my husband's due to his birthday being before mine. I told her that's how it was before and she very confidently said "well you're going to have issues then".. I was with them for 2 years and had no problems, but ok. She shooed me away with a phone number to call, which I did- the UCLA billing department made the switch at the click of a button. I was wanting to establish care with this pediatric office for my daughter, but am reconsidering based on my experience with her. I do need to rave about nurse Natalia- she was so amazing. I was out of the country and sent a message through the patient portal early in the morning. Despite multiple follow-up calls from both myself and my mother, we received no response from the doctor. The office told my husband and mother to bring my son in, which they did--traveling over an hour to get there before closing. Despite arriving while Dr. Miller was still in, she never came out to assess him, nor did she or her team respond to any of our messages or calls. Over a week later, and her team still have not reached out to us. My husband ended up taking our son to urgent care. This is especially upsetting coming from a team that has cared for my child since birth, without any issues. We will not be returning and will gladly find care elsewhere. P.S. He is what you wish every pediatrician were. He treats kids with so much compassion, and is even kind to stressed out moms with 400 questions. I'm a physician as well, and I am consistently humbled by his expertise each time we visit him. I have 2 girls who went through a really rough few years with Covid & POTS. They also have anxiety & ADHD. The older one also came out as trans. These are not straightforward healthy kids who go to see Dr. Brucker for just well-child checkups. Talk about the golden trifecta: physical, mental, and gender identity health issues. We were in the UCLA system for the longest time, which was excellent too, but transitioned to Dr. Brucker when our health insurance changed. He's been caring for my girls for about 2 or 3 yrs now. He has surpassed every other amazing pediatrician that has taken care of them. His attention to detail and keen vigilance are unmatched. He's probably the smartest doc they've had.
