I won't recite the litany of dishes that he prepared, but I must comment on the care he put into each one, balancing the flavors and textures within and across the prix fixe menu. Cuts were tender and were often unfamiliar to me, as an American diner. Even when we revisited certain fish in later dishes, they were presented in altered forms to make them new again. Seating is limited to about 6-8 counter seats, so it's definitely more of a quick stop than a sit-down restaurant. The only downside is the location--it's a little tucked away and not the easiest place to get to. Overall though, I'd highly recommend it if you're looking for fresh poke or Hawaiian-style lunch plates.
