Cathy, the front desk receptionist, was exceptionally pleasant. The doctor evaluated my condition and thoroughly explained what to expect. On the day of the procedure, I was taken on time. There were 2 assistants, Susan and Olivia, in the room with me who were gentle and reassuring. They assured me that the procedure would be pain free, and it was. The doctor was very professional and quick as he explained what he was doing. At the conclusion of the appointment, I was given printed instructions and post operative supplies. No one wants to have oral surgery, but Dr. Ladman and his staff made this an easy experience. I recuperated quickly with no complications whatsoever. I highly recommend Dr. Ladman.

I always scheduled early morning appointments since I suffer from cluster headaches and prefer to get in and out quickly, and I made them aware of this. I've never missed an appointment. In recent years, prices have kept going up, and now there's even a new credit card fee. I still planned to keep going because I liked that Dr. Dijour's office was clean and well maintained, and in the past, I had recommended them to friends and family. My appointment today was set for 8:45 AM, but last week I was out of town and accidentally left my phone at home. When I got back Sunday night, I saw their text and confirmed as usual before going to bed. When I arrived this morning, I was told my appointment was removed because they require confirmation 24 hours in advance. I don't recall being told that, but I could understand it. Still, given my perfect attendance, I expected some benefit of the doubt. Instead, they only offered me a new afternoon slot, knowing I only do early mornings. I honestly feel this was intentional. I've also informed the receptionist in the past that any calls or messages must come from a phone that is in my contacts because my phone is set up only to accept phone numbers in it, if not it will not ring. Anyway, it time to try someone new just a few blocks down on 516 in Old Bridge.

Back then, I was very satisfied with her service and the quality of the cleaning. After moving out of state, I couldn't continue, but now that I'm back in NJ I scheduled another cleaning with her. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. My appointment was rescheduled twice, which I didn't mind. I had already texted my insurance card well before the visit, so everything should have been set. However, when I arrived, I was told I needed to provide copies of my old X-rays from my previous dentist--who is out of state and two hours behind in time zone. This was impossible to arrange on short notice. The only alternative offered was to pay out of pocket for new X-rays. What's most frustrating is that they already had my insurance information, but no one took the time to verify coverage or let me know about this requirement ahead of time. Instead of getting the cleaning I had scheduled, I had to leave without treatment. Sadly, this is not the same patient-focused service I remembered years ago. As another reviewer mentioned, it feels like they are more interested in making money from unnecessary X-rays than in patient care. I will not be returning.
