I found the quality of the sushi was pretty good for a sushi train. They were constantly making new sushi and adding it to the train therefore you were never really eating "old" sushi. If the sushi you wanted wasn't on the train, you had the option to order it off the menu and they get served to your table very quickly. There's nothing to complain about this place. It's quick, easy & you're able to go back to shopping on a full and satisfied stomach :)

Then as you walk into the humongous space you'll be amazed at the longest sushi train you've ever seen! It whirls, winds & bends throughout the entire space which is cool if you're decisive as if you aren't you'll miss the train & it could be a while till that dish comes back by you if it already hasn't been gobbled up by the crowds who frequent this joint. But its all about the experience so enjoy the train ride! The sushi chefs are busily going back & forth to the kitchen to get fresh new ingredients to work their magic, so theres constantly new dishes been put onto the train from your traditional rolls to black rice sushi & cornflakes encrusted sushi. There are cute little signs on plates which explain what certain fish or rice are, the benefits for those in the need to know what they're gobbling. Theres also a range of Japanese flavoured gelato on offer. Just remember to get the wait staff to calculate your bill before you go to the cash register to pay for all the plates you ended up stacking up. A great pop in for a quick snack but also a great environment to bring your friends, tantalise over the plates while they choo-choo past you. You can opt for the usual bar dining or there are actual benches that cater to groups so you're not having to play chinese whispers down the bench with your group.

There really isn't much going on in the Western Sydney Japanese scene. Found this place online…read moreafter doing a search for ramen places in Parramatta. I was a bit nervous on the drive there and went in with low expectations. The restaurant is very small and had elements of a typical Japanese restaurant set up. I ordered the katsu chicken ramen an shared the magma roll. The katsu chicken wasn't your normal golden brown coloured exterior but nevertheless tasted really good. I thoroughly enjoyed the ramen after I heaped on some chilli flakes. This isn't readily available on the table so don't forget to ask if you're a fan. The soup was pretty delicious and I almost drank my bowl dry. The magma roll was a bit disappointing though. Not as hot as I expected. Having salmon and canned tuna pieces together probably isn't the best idea either. The tuna definitely out ways the salmon even though it's the salmon you really want to task. Overall a great place for a ramen fix if you are ever in western sydney.

They're many Japanese restaurant contenders in my area but this tiny place remains me of alot of gems we visited in Japan. So if they're busy you might find it hard to get seating, but takeaway option still available. The menu is basic but covers the whole range: sushi, sashimi, ramens, udons, tempuras, bentos, entrees etc. I go here so often (eat in or takeaway) because everytime I order it's like ordering for the first time. the consistency doesn't drop just because you're a regular, which I've had with many other restaurants before. The quality is awesome, especially for such a small restaurant. I've been visiting this place since it first opened and been a loyal fan since. FYI they do open on Sundays now so don't be deterred!

It is spoken of in hushed terms, not only…read morebecause of the good sushi, but because it is the only, yes, ONLY sushi bar in the Mountains. Their opening hours are mysterious, and they are renowned for selling out almost as fast as they open. I decided to track this Shangri-La down. Wednesday morning. 11 am. Wentworth Falls. Down some stairs at the end of a car park and we're queueing. Yes, queueing. In Wentworth Falls. It's utterly absurd. There's not 10 people in the whole village at that time of the morning. Cars pull up. Everyone looks a bit edgy. The doors open, 15 minutes late. The better to build the tension, I guess. I'm 4th in line, and manage to snag 1 of the 2 AA grade tuna and avocado rolls, a seaweed roll and the one and only Inari. It's 11.17. I can't quite believe I pulled it off. I can't quite believe I'm queueing for lunch at 11am in the morning. I scuttle away with my ill-gotten gains clutched to my chest like someone's gonna wrest them from me. I prepare a snarl just in case they try. My food allergies are so bad, sushi's about the only thing I can eat with any safety. To have to catch a train for 30 mins, queue for 20 and then barely get any is freaking ridiculous. I feel like I've been snapped into some parallel dimension where sashimi grade fish has become the drug of choice. But I have a solution. MAKE MORE SUSHI. Please, please, please.... (prolonged sad begging). You don't have to run out at 11.18.... please... JUST MAKE MORE. We'll buy it, I promise.

(Sometimes there are days when you can arrive at 1pm and still find a good selection.) There is a wide variety, made with the best, freshest ingredients, and they will slice it for a token cost. The taste is so good!!!! Open 5 days (from 11am) - closed Sunday and Monday, there is a little outside seating available for nice days. The owners are so friendly and courteous. It is often extra busy on Fridays and Saturdays with a long queue of Sydneysiders - many on the way up the mountains for the weekend. (Cash only)
