I gave two stars because I feel like the guy really tried to make ramen! We are tourists from New York, and after days of eating both French and Italian food, we were craving some Asian food. This place had no rating on Yelp but had a 4.9 on Google reviews, so we decided to check this place out. I feel extremely saddened to say that this is very far from what ramen tastes like. The noodles they used were prepackaged and were still hard. The shrimp tempura was simply deep fried shrimp. Im not angry or anything, just sad - if I could, I would take the owner of the restaurant back with me to NYC to taste authentic Japanese food. I'm just sad that the people here have this perception that this is what Japanese food tastes like. While I'm at it, if you're in NYC, make sure to check out Ippudo, one of the most popular places to go to for ramen. read more
