Restaurant is friendly feeling, though crowded even when there's barely anyone in there. Outdoor seating is nice. The menu is huge, and I guess if you've never eaten good Thai food you might like it. For me, the curries were a disappointment; not even as good as the kind of bottled curry you'd buy in the store. Don't have the larb either, it's overly sweet, comes without lime, has no acidity. My friend tried the tonkatsu ramen and the noodles might as well have come out of a 25 cent package. No way the broth was home made. The salmon sushi rice was good, the right temperature and consistency. Scallop roll was good. Salmon sashimi looked fine but tasted meh, the gyoza were clearly out of a freezer box, and the gyoza sauce was overly sweet. The mochi ice cream wasn't cold enough, it was kind of glutinously melting already. All in all a disappointment. Don't have the ramen; the sushi is passable if you have a jones for it. read more

Craving sushi, I visited this place, after the first two sushi places I tried were closed. Sushi Ramen is fabulous! The lady who served me was kind and enthusiastic. At first glance the proportions seem very small. Very little noodles in the ramen and only 2 small pieces of pork in the bowl. The sushi also looked small but the flavor was excellent. I had won ton soup and it was excellent as well but had only 3 very small won tons. It was fresh and tasty. The presentation was a bit underwhelming. We got sushi and ramen - it all tasted just okay. For it being pricey I thought it was very average especially when you add the wait. My adult daughters went here for lunch (though I paid for it) and it was mixed reviews. Two of them enjoyed theirs, but the one who has actually been to Asia was disappointed. She also was surprised that the person taking the order seemed confused when asked if the tuna was "Ahi tuna". She tried asking several times and the girl said she had never heard of it. Not only that, I decided to call the restaurant regarding my order to which they stated the driver had not come to pick up my delivery. At this point, the restaurant was closed and told me to notify door dash to cancel my own order (which I wasn't aware it was through in the first place.) The owner/worker asked me to pick up (defeating the delivery fees and tip which doordash customer service told me they couldn't refund...) The owner told me he would bring it and no one came.. was out of $60 and waited 3 hours for food which never came... Finally got a full refund the next day, but the lack of transparency is not a good business route. The website needs to be more transparent and disclose. If you have no experience with sushi you may like this place. The options for sushi were lackluster. Every roll consisted of tempura or cooked crab. I placed a $200 order and pretty much touch on everything offered on the menu. My order was To go and the warm food was packaged with the cold food. That is disgusting. I asked for no crab meat in my sushi roll and they did not comply. I returned my warm sushi and ordered something different (a Poke Bowl). It was less than what I returned and they did not even offer me a partial refund. I ate the disappointment. The price is a little too high for what you get. This was the worst experience of my life. We went to go eat dinner at 6:00 and did not get our order taken until 6:50 and it took another two hours just to get our food. We only ordered four rolls. Not only was the service so slow but because we were a small group of young adults (18 and up) halfway during taking our order she abruptly cut me off by putting her finger up while I saw saying my order, said nothing and walked away to go seat another family with adults of whom she thought would probably tip better. They came in an hour after us and not only got attention and served but also received their food almost immediately (they were a larger group with more orders), we were all pissed at this point but when we got our check as a groups of FOUR we were charged with a gratuity of 20%!!!! The restaurant has about 10 tables and is usually a good, quiet place for talking. It is also within a couple short blocks of the beach, so we came to it for a lunch break from the beach wearing shirts and shorts. read more

This last time I ordered an eel roll, the amount of eel was less than a fingernail with lots of cucumber and rice.
