    Shashimi!

Quality sushi! Sure, you can find cheaper sushi but it won't be like this. Plus, you have total control of what you order which is important for people like me who have to watch their blood sugars and cholesterol levels. Atmosphere was clean, airy, and light...and we had a super friendly and gregarious waitress that was attentive and made us laugh. Check out the beautiful pictures that showed their attention to detail. Not only worth the trip but also the experience.

Food was good, service was great and it's very clean in there. I ordered chicken hibachi which had great flavor and Hubby said, "All you can eat sushi, how can you go wrong?" He liked all of it except he said the Bradenton roll was just ok and I thought my rice was very dry. The ginger dressing was phenomenal. We'll be back to try more items.

We stopped in here last night after work and we're pleasantly surprised. The establishment is incredibly clean and open with nice lighting and a beautiful setup. It was very busy when we went so that's good for a new place. We opted for the AYCE option.. the size of the rolls and sushi was great for the ayce price. Everything we had was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing as well. No waiting around for plates to get picked up and felt well taken care of. Will be back for sure as the place grows and time goes on. Only 4 stars because of how quick everything came out we didn't get much time to finish the previous items. I'm assuming that's the goal with AYCE so I can't be mad. Overall very happy and will be back!

If you're insanely hungry, and you want some really good quality sushi, then look no further! Because Sushi Kami has you covered! The only thing you'll have to worry about, is eating too much! Brief Summary: Sushi Kami is a brand new all you can each sushi, ramen, and hibachi restaurant that has a lot to offer! With a wide variety of high quality foods to offer, sushi kami will certainly make you happy! Would I Recommend This Restaurant? Yes! The Food: When it comes to any all you can eat, you need to keep your expectations at a reasonable level. Typically, you get either quantity or quality. Very VERY rarely do you ever get both. HOWEVER, Sushi Kami is that needle in the haystack that is able to pull them both off! The appetizers were all delicious, and were the perfect size to allow you to try a variety of things without getting too stuffed. The sushi was the real star of the show though. I'm sure you didn't come to Sushi Kami just for the edamame! The sushi here is OUT FREAKING STANDING! I was truly blown away by the quality of their sushi. For comparison, there are stand alone fully a la carte sushi restaurants that don't even have this level of quality! The fact that the quality was so high was truly mind boggling. Not only was the quality high, but the menu selection was extremely vast. When we checked in, the front desk girl said everything on the menu OSs available when you do the all you can eat. I thought to myself, "There's no way. There's zero percent chance the sashimi is included". I've never been so happy to have been wrong in my life! The sashimi is included in the all you can eat! This is a MAJOR plus for those who are truly into sushi, because stand alone sashimi is typically very expensive. The salmon sashimi was so fresh, buttery, and just incredibly delicious. Every bite was just melting in my mouth. The thing that impressed me the most though was that they serve the sashimi on ice! This ensures that it stays fresh as it sits on your table. It may sound like a little thing, but it speaks volumes to the level of care that they put into serving their customers. I seriously can't speak highly enough about the food here. The tempura, the sushi, the sashimi, it was all wonderful, high quality, and beautifully presented! Value: I found the pricing to be pretty much on point with what you'd expect from an all you can eat sushi place. I definitely felt like I got my money's worth! Truly good value considering you're getting unlimited high quality food! Service and Staff: The staff here were incredibly friendly and helpful! The place was PACKED when I went. Wait was about 45 minutes. Despite having a long line of hungry people, they still managed it very well. Their estimate for us was pretty much exactly on point at 45 minutes. 45 minutes that was well worth it! Our waitress Julie was so amazing! She was so friendly and helpful, and full of personality. She made the whole experience even better. On top of that, the owner was working right alongside all of his staff. This is something that I LOVE to see. I think it speaks a lot to the care and passion they have for their customers and their staff. He even stopped by our table and we got to chat with him. Just a genuinely kind man, and equally kind staff! Something to keep in mind is that they only do reservations for parties of 6 or more. In my opinion, this is necessary considering how busy they are. Trust me though, it's worth the wait! Location and Interior: The location was in a decent area. Right off of 70 and away from UTC. Plenty of parking, which is needed considering how busy they are! The interior was beautifully decorated and everything felt nice and clean! Final Thoughts: A wonderful restaurant that does everything right! The only thing you'll have to worry about is how you're going to roll yourself out of there after you eat too much! Overall, a truly phenomenal dining experience! Final Scores: Food - 10/10 Value - 5/5 Service/Staff - 5/5 Location/Interior 5/5 Total 25/25 = 5/5 Stars Stay fresh Mother Fooders! :p

This place has been open for only 7 days. We went at 5:00 knowing they would be busy. We were seated right away. Ambiance was nice , service was great ( I can't remember her name). The sushi was good because you know it's made right there but not sure about the Asian foods (like sumai , gyoza, sesame balls). The dinner size MisuRamen was very small for the price (& not much in it but half an egg, small piece of pork & noodles ). I would like to come back but not do the All-you-can-eat.

Got a bottle of sake that was reasonably priced for what's expected from restaurant price mark-up standards. I liked that they had Prosecco on draft because you know that it'll be as fresh as possible compared to not knowing how long a bottle in the bar has been open before getting your pour. But, I find that the Prosecco was on the "flat" side of things, not as effervescent as I'd expect. The food was pretty mid. The teriyaki sauce in my stir fried veggies was watery and not that flavorful; they literally counted the pieces of fried tofu that came on my teriyaki platter (5 total) - as if tofu were an expensive ingredient. My stir fried rice was disappointing - i can make better fried rice at home or even doctoring up pre-cooked fried rice I can buy at Sam's Club. My avocado house salad with ginger dressing was, just borderline okay. I tried the avocado cucumber roll and avocado peanut roll, those were passable. Most of the food tasted like they source from a restaurant supplier instead of putting in the effort of making certain preparations in-house which would make them much better in quality. For the $35 all you can eat I can tell you I was an underwhelmed vegetarian. I visited because my friend loves eating sushi but I'd probably not go back, not even for her. Perhaps if I wanted to drink I might, but very selectively since they don't put much effort into the mixers that go into the cocktails. The only Asian spot in the area that does good cocktails I think so far is Kore steakhouse. At Sushi Kami I'd stick to draft beer, bottled beer and sake.

I have now been here 2 times. Once for lunch and one time for dinner. If this place continues the quality it will be amazing! What a deal. Endless sushi and more. Inside is large well decorated. The sushi was fast to come to table even during the busy time. Pictures only shown some of what we ordered. There was lots more.

Food was good. Me and my son ate AYCE , my husband did a menu order . The service was good but slow on our to go order it took 1 hour to get our to go order , not sure if the server forgot because they sat a 16 top and a 5 top at the same time we were trying to check out and leave. So we ended up spending 3 hours there instead of a quick bite and home night for school. The decorations was cute and clean . The music kept cutting on and off not sure what happed but if it's that bad just turn it off till you fix it. We will be back and make sure we order to go when we order our food . We don't want to wait 1 extra hours after being there 2 hours. It makes for a long night .

Everything was amazing: the music, the food, and the service. Truly love this for us in LWR!

It just opened four days ago they have an all you can eat option and serve you fresh delicious sushi, and pan Asian dishes. It was really good. We would go back.

The staff are very kind and friendly. The service was great our waitress Peyton kept up with our table and all her others very well. The food here is phenomenal, the sushi was very fresh and crafted beautifully, the soups are delicious and the appetizers as well as the ramen were very tasty. The ambiance is great the restaurant has a very open atmosphere with impeccable lighting and fun decor. Will definitely be coming back to try more.

This little gem is owned and run by the former head chef of the original Jo-To's. If you're looking for some good food and good hospitality from a family owned business, look no further! Brief Summary: Little Jo To is a small, hole in the wall, family owned restaurant that is owned and operated by the former head chef of the original Jo-To's restaurant by the airport. They have various types of Japanese cuisine available. All of which will leave you with a smile on your face! They may have dropped the cooking in front of you part of the dining experience, but man oh man is the food still worth it! If you miss the old Jo-To's, come check out the new one! Would I Recommend This Restaurant? Absolutely! Without any hesitation! The Food: They offer an array of Japanese delights. Everything from Teriyaki, to hibachi, to your favorite types of tempura. The food has all of the delicious flavors of the original restaurant thanks to the masterful cooking of chef Van! The soup, the salad, the fried Oreos, it's all incredible! They have my most favorite clear soup and hibachi of any Japanese restaurant that I've ever been to. It's truly difficult to find anything on the menu that isn't worth putting a dent in your bank account for! All in all, I promise you, you won't be disappointed with the deliciousness that they serve here! Value: The portions here are VERY generous! In an era where portions are getting smaller, and prices are getting larger, it's a major relief to see someone offering good value for your money! I can't believe I'm saying this, but I almost feel like they could charge more and I'd still feel like it was great value. THAT'S how good the value is in my personal opinion! Service and Staff: The front of the house is run by chef Van's wife. She is AS SWEET as they come! Just a truly incredible family. I actually remember her from when I was a kid and I went to the original Jo-To's restaurant. When I was about 6, I wasn't feeling good, and she brought me a ginger ale to help settle my stomach. It was something I never forgot! She still has the same sweet personality, and the service they offer here follows her example! Location and Interior: The location is on a major road. There is ample parking as well which is always a plus. The interior though is BEAUTIFUL! It gives me true Japanese vibes in there. With the little lanterns hanging from the ceiling, it made me feel like they brought a little piece of Japan here to the states! Final Thoughts: Chef Van still remembers me from when my Mom would bring me in when I was a baby. We're talking some 28 years ago. He never forgot my mother or I, and he has always been such a hard working genuine person. Him and his wife have a truly beautiful family and a truly beautiful restaurant. They, and their food, are worth giving a chance. Come out and support this gem of a hole in the wall restaurant! P.S. I very rarely give a perfect 25/25, but this one is well deserved! Final Scores: Food - 10/10 Value - 5/5 Service/Staff - 5/5 Location/Interior - 5/5 Total 25/25 = 5 Stars Stay fresh Mother Fooders! :p
