Our favorites are Jalapeño hamachi, egg and scallion fried rice, crab rangoons and pretty much everything else. Bartenders are attentive and the customers are friendly. They've got teppanyaki tables which are popular any time of the day, and it's fun to watch the chefs even if you aren't participating in the meal. We didn't try hibachi, but the sushi was okay, albeit pretty expensive for the quality. Relatively basic maki rolls like Eel & Avocado, Shrimp Tempura Maki, and Boston Maki were $8.45 $9.45 each. The Chinese food we tried was pretty mediocre. Beef Chow Foon had tender beef and nice chewy noodles, but was too oily. The real disappointment was the chef special Five Flavor Shrimp, which had nice flavor, but the shrimp were overcooked and rubbery. White rice is not included with entrees. Lots of big TVs and an active bar scene, but given inattentive service, high prices, and so-so food, I'll stick to other sushi and Chinese restaurants in the area. Oh well.

The crab Rangoon are really my favorite, they're the best place in the city for a good set of them. The hibachi chefs are super fun, attentive, cool your meals to perfection. The lychee martinis is just delicious, their drinks are affordable, the bartenders are also amazing because it doesn't matter who is behind it, I never complain ! This place is a hidden gem for the locals and I really feel they deserve more praise because I have been coming here for YEARS and I have never ever had a bad meal. Super impressive.

We were surprised how busy it was considering it was only 5:15 pm on a weekday. Everyone was in the front room which includes the bar, some tables and a sushi counter. We were quickly seated, adjacent to the bar, as all the tables against the wall (read that as incrementally further from the bar) were taken. Our pleasant waiter arrived promptly, and took our order. We selected: * Gyoza (6 pieces): Pan fried or steamed pork dumpling $7.50 * Hibachi Chicken & Shrimp with Fried Rice $25.00 * Sake Don (7 pieces) Salmon sashimi over a bed of sushi rice $15 Soup and salads arrived immediately, and were fine, standard fare. The fried Gyoza was very tasty and quite light. The Sake Don was good, the salmon was a little thin, there was a nice amount of roe added and a huge amount of rice. But the Hibachi Chicken & Shrimp was terrible. The proteins were tough and dry, the rice was much too salty and also dry, it was a very unappealing dish. My co-diner commented that the venue looked tired, the table felt sticky (the plastic menu was difficult for the waiter to retrieve from the table as it was stuck to it), and it was very noisy. She commented that we should never return.

Mai Tai recommendation? Confirmed. Approved. Rounds for 3 Cold, refreshing Sapporo was flowing too. Given that hibachi rooms are usually a full-volume symphony of knives, fire, and birthday chants (in just over 2 hrs, we enjoyed 4 gongs!) -- I was pleasantly surprised. Even without sound-absorbing decor or cozy furniture, the noise level stayed lively but not chaotic. No shouting across the table, no sensory overload. A win. Our chef brought the right mix of skill and personality (entertaining without trying too hard), our server was on it, and drinks showed up consistently and on time -- which, let's be honest, is half the battle. Officially found a go-to outside of Manchester for sushi and hibachi. Cheers to good food, good company, and Saki shoots, but safely.

We placed an order online and the order took about a half hour for about 5 rolls. Wish it was a bit faster but the restaurant seemed pretty busy. We spent close to $50 on that last order and the crab Rangoons were unfortunately missing when we came home. Bit disappointed on that. Main reason for dropping of stars was I felt the quality of the sushi wasn't as good as our last visit. Both rolls just didn't have a ton of flavor. It didn't taste as fresh as our last visit. Flavor wasn't terrible but it was just... okay. Not sure what happened--maybe it was an off day or the quality suffered a bit. But hopefully they can improve the sushi rolls. Also from my last review they had a promotion of a discount online but my discount wasn't honored online--no big deal. But after a text promotion my crab Rangoons weren't honored either? Thumbs down. If folks do really enjoy this place and get reeled in on online promotions, definitely make sure they honor it. I was aware of it but just didn't want to deal with it. Cheers.
