Final sale fish
Ofri H.

If I could have 0 stars I would do that. The restaurant has unfresh fish, bad attitude from waitresses, and also from Muji the manager. Started our dinner sitting for more than over 25 min after asked for at least 4 times for soy and ginger for start and spicy mayo. Didn't receive anything. I was so pissed so I walked to the kitchen and got my soy. Food was disgusting, and owner was very bad vibes said she is nnot willing to do anything for us and cant take it our the bill abd sais it is a final sale like i bought a ring Would recommend everybody to stay away of this place. All the sushi were untouched, nigiri and even the pad tai was bad. Had to go to get some nuggets

Raw meat in the egg rolls??

Okay, so this review is for people who want to know the truth...this place is nasty! Might be better to go to Panda Express down the street (did I really just say that?!). Sushi house is one of the worst places I have ever eaten at. But yet, this place has a good overall rating on Yelp and was pretty crowded this evening. Why? How? What?? We walked in, and there were about 6 open tables. We had a 5 or so minute wait which isn't bad. Or at least it wouldn't have been bad if employees had acknowledged us. They didn't even look at us when they passed by, as if they were pretending that we weren't there. We sat down and our waitress immediately asked what we wanted to order. Umm...we don't know, we literally just sat down? Eventually we ordered egg rolls, chicken fried rice, and a spider roll. The egg rolls came out and looked nice and crispy. You get 2 in an order. I bit into one, and it didn't taste bad but something looked odd. The ingredients weren't listed on the menu, so I had no clue what it was filled with. I used a chop stick to get out whatever was in it to "investigate." Looked like raw meat to me. It was pink and mushy. My boyfriend didn't mind and went ahead and ate. We had a long day of driving and were both tired and hungry. Eventually my boyfriend's order of fried rice came out. It had tomatoes in it!! How odd? He ate about half of his plate. Several minutes after his plate came to the table, my sushi finally arrived. It had no eel sauce on it (menu said it would) and didn't look all too appealing. My taste buds agreed that this was not an appealing dish. The crab in it was very fishy and burnt. The whole roll lacked any flavor. This is the first time I have literally tried to give my sushi roll away. I did not want to eat it and tried passing it along to my boyfriend haha! He even refused to try it. Since I was so hungry, I attempted to push out the crab and eat around it. When I did, I found a hair in my roll. Yikes. We will definitely not choose to return the next time we are in Amarillo, but a lot of locals must like it or something! Decide for yourself; however, don't be mad at me when you leave feeling disappointed.

Fabulous high quality sushi rolls at a reasonable price. I've ordered takeout from Sushi House twice during covid season: the avocado rolls and philly rolls were delish. I dug the pad kee Mao with chicken sans broccoli. I'll be back!

Great new family owned sushi restaurant with hard working employees. We had a party of 8 and were seated immediately for lunch on Saturday. Our drinks were frequently refilled and empty plates were cleared often. The head sushi chefs and owner is super friendly. I always see him conversing with customers while he busily makes the sushi rolls. Since the the place is still new, it's very clean and in nice shopping center. We started out with fried calamari and short ribs, both were very good. Then came all our sushi rolls and sashimi back to back so we could enjoy them all at the same time. The rolls average about $10 and comes in 8-10 pieces, very big pieces! One roll is enough to be a whole meal. Although all the rolls were excellent, my favorite dish is the viagra salad. The field of greens are topped with different pieces of sashimi and fried salmon skin, my favorite part of the salad. We also got a variation of sashimi. The fishes were very fresh! We will definitely be back to support this local business when visiting again!

I always get the Rock & Roll roll and it's seriously my favorite. It's so fresh and flavorful every single time--I literally crave it. You can tell they're consistent with their quality, which I love. Service is always quick, and everything just runs smoothly every time I go. Definitely one of my go-to spots in Amarillo. If you haven't tried the Rock & Roll roll yet, you're missing out!!

I would give this place a 3.5 stars…read more The vibe: A casual spot that can't quite decide if it's in Bangkok or Tokyo... and honestly leans more Thailand than Japan. Decor is more Thai than Japan, nothing memorable. Service? Also fine & courteous - you'll get what you need, just not much extra. The menu moment: Lots of varieties of Thai dishes and Japanese rolls. What I tried: Pad Kee Mao (#58) -- Stir-fried udon with a full house of meats, shrimp, and veggies. Spicy, saucy, and hits the spot if you're craving pan-fried noodles. Solid portion for $14.95 -- and the one thing I'd come back for. Crispy Tofu (#5) -- Tried it for the first time... and probably the last. Didn't quite land for me. $8.95. The takeaway: Nothing really stands out here, but it gets the job done if you're in the mood for Thai-style noodles. The know before you go: No dessert. Translation: no mango sticky rice. Tragic. Next on deck: Ceviche Salad (#89) -- because curiosity wins. The bottom line: Worth it if you're nearby and want a quick noodle fix. Just keep expectations in check (and maybe skip the tofu).

I was suprise to find a noodle spot here. just had to check it out as it was 5min away from hotel…read more went in and I overheard the staff all speaking mandarin. ok, this is china spot. when i first try to order the black garlic ramen, the waiter ask what type of meat? i was surprise as in ramen places that is never asked, it is usually just a few slices of pork. so, i ask is this chinese style, and he said yes. so, i changed my order to beef noodle soup as that is a more traditional chinese noodle. i added onion pancakes as i usually like to eat this with beef noodles and dip the pancakes in the noodle broth. the noodle soup was awesome. first bite of the noodles, i immediately can get the Q from the noodle. it is freshly pulled. taste just like fresh pulled noodles i had in china. i asked the waiter and he confirmed it is freshly pulled noodles. in addition, being in cattle town amarillo, the beef slices were generous and thick. really great find in this town. total was $21 bucks! i think i did 25 cash, dont remember.

I first saw him doing the same thing with his fingers, and gave the bill of another customer without sanitizing his hands. The unsuspecting customers were in a cubicle typed table while we were in an open table. Fortunately, it was not our food that he served. I told the cashier about it and verify what I witnessed through their CCTV.

**Terrible Experience -- Avoid This Place**…read more If I could give this place negative stars, I would. We went to this sad excuse for a restaurant last night, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. Our party of five adults (plus a young child) waited nearly two hours and never even received food for most of our group. Two of the adults were served, but the rest of us were completely forgotten. After more than an hour of waiting, we finally asked what was going on--only to find out they had*never entered the rest of our order at all. At first, they told us our food was "just a little behind" and on its way, but that turned out not to be true. Then they even tried to serve us another table's order--who had just arrived--so that's when we realized our order had never been placed, or had been given to another party. After we complained several times and had to flag down multiple people for help because our server had disappeared, we finally got them to put in our order. When they did finally start bringing food, they brought the dishes out one at a time, with more than 30 minutes between each. By that point, four of the six people in our group (including the child) had already left. I asked for my food to be packed to go because everyone else had already left, but they put the meat, vegetables, rice, and noodles all together in one box, turning it into a watery, soupy mess that was completely inedible. Both entrees we were served had to be thrown away. Even after explaining everything that had happened, our waitress disappeared for another 20 minutes. We had to flag down three different servers just to get our bill--for a meal we never got to enjoy. In the end, we were **extorted for over $70** for an experience that was beyond unacceptable. Whatever you do, **DO NOT VIST TOKYO STEAKHOUSE in AMARILLO TX.** You'll wait for hours, get little to no service, and walk away frustrated, hungry, completely ripped off, without an explanation or apology. This was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we've ever had. We waited hours only to have our pockets picked by these people. In the end, we went home, and still had to make our dinner. Don't waste your time on these clowns.
