Average yet overpriced. The establishment itself is nicely decorated and spacious however the seating was uncomfortable with falling-apart bench chairs at small tables that wouldn't be good for more than four people. The hostess was friendly and took our order which consisted of Teriyaki Chicken & Avocado hand rolls. I'm not sure if she misheard us because there was no Teriyaki sauce and it tasted very bland. From the conveyor belt, I grabbed a karaage chicken which was expensive for a plate that was uncovered and cold. I also grabbed a tuna and avocado with egg which was also expensive and when I took the egg off to give a piece to my partner (he dislikes egg), there was a small hair underneath. I noticed plates ranged all the way up to $8.80 which is ridiculous, especially as we weren't anywhere you'd expect to pay such a premium price. This is probably what turned me off the most as I could have ordered fresh chicken karaage and checked if they gave me the right hand roll. Points for no Eftpos minimum, takeaway and split bill. read more
