Small portions for the price. Noodle soups also lacked depth of flavour compared to other udon/ramen places.

I found the quality of the sushi was pretty good for a sushi train. They were constantly making new sushi and adding it to the train therefore you were never really eating "old" sushi. If the sushi you wanted wasn't on the train, you had the option to order it off the menu and they get served to your table very quickly. There's nothing to complain about this place. It's quick, easy & you're able to go back to shopping on a full and satisfied stomach :)

Then as you walk into the humongous space you'll be amazed at the longest sushi train you've ever seen! It whirls, winds & bends throughout the entire space which is cool if you're decisive as if you aren't you'll miss the train & it could be a while till that dish comes back by you if it already hasn't been gobbled up by the crowds who frequent this joint. But its all about the experience so enjoy the train ride! The sushi chefs are busily going back & forth to the kitchen to get fresh new ingredients to work their magic, so theres constantly new dishes been put onto the train from your traditional rolls to black rice sushi & cornflakes encrusted sushi. There are cute little signs on plates which explain what certain fish or rice are, the benefits for those in the need to know what they're gobbling. Theres also a range of Japanese flavoured gelato on offer. Just remember to get the wait staff to calculate your bill before you go to the cash register to pay for all the plates you ended up stacking up. A great pop in for a quick snack but also a great environment to bring your friends, tantalise over the plates while they choo-choo past you. You can opt for the usual bar dining or there are actual benches that cater to groups so you're not having to play chinese whispers down the bench with your group.

There are a couple more tables outside which were needed even on a Tuesday night. However, if you are lucky enough to live in the area you can opt for takeaway which seemed to be a popular choice as the takeaway line was constant. All good signs that this was to be an enjoyable meal. With plenty to choose from, deciding was a slightly slow process but we ordered the medium sushi and sashimi, udon, and one of the recommended dishes - the rainbow roll. When the plates came out it was a delight for the eyes! Presentation was so on point and it was just so pretty. I don't think the photos do them any justice. But ultimately what's important is the taste, and yes there was no disappointment in this department either. I particularly loved the sushi and sashimi plate just for how fresh everything was. Although I did find the kingfish a little hard to chew. Minor fault. Entering with a massive sushi craving, Sushi Oh-Oo did a good job at satisfying, or if you flip it around I could have been enjoying everything far too much because of my deep desire for it. Either way, happy chappy. Udon was standard but that by no means is a negative, and was a great accompaniment to everything else. To be honest though, as much as I did enjoy the rainbow roll, not sure if it deserving to be one of two recommended dishes. I mean, it was tasty without a doubt, but I've had rainbow rolls at other places of similar quality. Perhaps it was the overpowering fried prawn in the middle, as I'm not the biggest fan of fried food. But if you are, ignore this, you'll probably love it! What is also another HUGE plus for Sushi Oh-oo is because of their good pricing. It's not too crazy, or not crazy at all depending on how you see it, and they pump out tasty, fresh food so they definitely deserve a big thumbs up in this aspect.
