I can recommend the beef bulgogi, chicken Katsu, sweet and sour prawns which where magnificent and the beef teriyaki Noodles. Very reasonable price - the bill didn't break the bank! Great takeaway menu as well well worth the effort to check the restaurant out. May need to book ahead to avoid missing out.

The sushi is fresh, & the staff are friendly, & happy to make to orders on request. My favourite would be the Black Rice sushi, Salmon & Avocado, or the cooked Tuna & avocado.. There is plenty of seating, & on weekends in the evening they allow BYO alcohol. this is a great option for a good quick bite before going to see a movie with friends on a weekend. There are no bathrooms within the restaurant, however there is disabled access, & the sushi makes this restaurant worth a visit for a quick & inexpensive bite to eat.

There is a good selection of plates if you choose to dine along the sushi train bar & just as many delicious sounding dishes from the a la carte menu which offers traditional dishes as well as more modern takes of classics. The sashimi platter was a feast for the eyes as well as the palate with the deluxe platter made up of 5 different types of fish, scallops & an oyster with ponzu sauce. It was fresh & a great testiment of what's to come. The tempura & sauce was again perfect. Lightly coated & crunchy, the mixed platter consisted of various vegetables, prawns & fish pieces. Then there is the wagyu steak with amiyaki sauce. This was the highlight as the beef was tender, juicy, rich from the fat marbled through it and the 2 accompanying sauces - one savoury & one creamy provided good contrast. It was served with a baked potato, unusual maybe but it works especially when broken up and eaten with the sour cream & accompanying 2 sauces. There is a selection of delectably looking maki rolls which I will have to try next time but did try a couple of plates of sushi from the train, which were good but not as special as the other dishes ordered. When its busy, service can be a little slow which is forgiven with great food. Its also BYO wine so bring a couple and enjoy it with the great range of delicious dishes on offer. It was such a pleasent surprise to find a restaurant of this quality & at reasonable prices. Can't wait to return.

It is absolutely packed with people though, ordering takeaway and picking up their phoned through orders. I picked whatever was on the picture sign, which was large sushi roll for $10. Not having the sushi premade and on display made it a little crazy picking a menu item, but I got through it. After all, freshly made sushi has got to be better! I must have frantically read somewhere on the menu that there was no charge for half and half, so I ordered teriyaki chicken and fresh salmon and avocado - I always start simple. I sat down on one of the benches - no one else was bothering to sit down, just that I have had bad experiences with sushi rice and soy sauce while trying to eat in my car. I seemed to get the sushi brought out within minutes, way before the takeaway the guy in front of me ordered. Score. What came out was two of the biggest sushi rolls I had ever seen, sliced up on a flat bamboo plate. They were about as fat as my clenched fist, and overflowing with goodness. I would say about the amount of food you would get from four stingy rolls from a hole in the wall sushi joint. There was nothing stingy about these though, with thick fresh salmon in one lot and juicy chicken in the other lot. Maybe there was too much sauce? Not that I am complaining, just not used to the extra thick smothering of teriyaki sauce. Yum! Highly recommended! I think next time I will order less, but try some of the awesome combinations.
