Surprisingly enough, this was my first Japanese dining experience in the Sydney area and I wasn't disappointed. Sure I've had sushi with questionable ingredients from the mall and train stations but Sakura is a wonderful dining experience with very reasonable Sydney prices.
Walking in to the restaurant, you may question if the food will be any good as the decor looks like an old cafeteria with a few long tables.
The menu is comparable to "War and Peace," offering food choices to even the most picky eater. From bento boxes, tempura, sushi rolls to sashimi Sakura leaves even the most hearty eater fulfilled.
I left Sakura vowing to come back again. No room for improvement. BYO with a minimal surcharge. read more
