Incredible, fresh, and creative pieces in the premium omakase set. Generous portions as well. The sake pairing was amazing. Incredible service from the chef and waitress both. Left feeling very full, which is not something I can say about many other omakase places in the city! There are options for table and counter. Casual ambience and super fun.

The ambiance of this place is very romantic. Lights are dimmed and the waiting area has a beautiful Sakura tree with backlit walls. Great spot for a date for sure! We ordered the omakase 15-course for dinner around Thanksgiving and the chef gave us a few sake shots to celebrate. I appreciated how they requested to eat with our fingers, mentioning that in Japanese, no finger = no flavor. They gave us towels to clean our fingers in between each dish of course. Each sushi had a unique combination of fish and flavors. There was one with wagyu and foie gras shavings which was quite unique. We were also served small dishes in between sushi plates as well. We ended with a straw berry pana cotta dessert and a few shots of sake. We had a lovely time here and the food was very enjoyable.

Sushi Blossoms was my first omakase experience, and it genuinely changed me. I've never been able to do raw sushi, but something about this experience completely sharpened my palate. The whole vibe is fun and inviting, and most importantly, absolutely delicious. They lean modern with the flair, but never so much that it distracts from the quality of the fish. I've tried a few other omakase spots since, and this one is still my favorite. I've been twice now and will keep coming back every time I'm in the city.

I really enjoyed this omakase experience. Priced reasonably at $100, it was 15 courses and had a unique spin on both taste and texture combinations. The egg dish in the middle was also quite a nice way to break up the different nigiri courses. The most surprisingly interesting dish came with a little fried crab, it was so interesting to crunch it like a little chip. Very enjoyable, I will be back!

I choose Sushi Blossoms to have my golden birthday and was not disappointed. Service was 10000/10. My chef was cheerful, accommodating and knowledgeable. My group had a person that didn't feel well but they did accommodate us to the max. Service felt very personal with care. Food 10000/10: Best bang for the buck. Less than 150 for their highest tier that came with wagu and foie gra. I still dream about that wagu foie gra bite. Ingredients taste fresh and flavorful. I had omakase that felt like they just throw in everything expensive stuff together but not at Sushi Blossoms. All flavors blended so well. I was so full when I left. Ambiance 10/10: this place is chill, not too fancy, not too casual.

I came to Sushi Blossom with my partner for our first ever omakase experience! I booked a reservation about three weeks in advance, and when we arrived, the servers greeted us and cleaned the area for us. The place is cozy, and we sat by the chef's table to watch the entire show! We got the 17 course menu, and every item was delicious. I honestly cannot even tell you a ranking of the courses because each of them would be at #1. The chefs and servers were all so great! The servers were so kind and we would make conversation. The chefs explained to us the fish and how to enjoy each item. I had the most amazing time, and I am so happy to have gone here for our first ever experience!

We came here in 2023 on a random trip to New York and it ended up being our highlight of that trip. Fast forward 2 years later we are back in New York and my only request was that this place be my birthday dinner because of how memorable it was back then. We made reservations and got the same set we had last time (premium) and it did not disappoint. It was just as good, if not maybe even better. our chef even remembered us and gave us different courses that we hadn't seen before. I'm always down to try new omakase places and sushi blossom has always remained my top 1 throughout the years, and the craziest part is that the pricing is amazing for the value. If you like omakase, you will love this place. the decor of cherry blossoms reminds me of spring, and everyone here is incredibly friendly. This place is a must go every time we are here now My favorite was anything with foie gras and my boyfriends favorite was "idk what anything was called it was all good"

Sushi Blossoms is unforgettable. The entire omakase was beautifully paced and carefully executed, but a few dishes truly blew me away. The truffle chawanmushi is one of the best bites I've had in New York. Silky, deeply savory, and layered with flavor. The scallop with duck foie gras is right up there too. It's rich, balanced, and absolutely unforgettable. I also loved the oyster shooter and the soup that came early in the meal. Both were warm, comforting, and surprisingly bold. The fish is pristine, the rice is perfectly seasoned, and every plate is presented with intention. The chefs are warm and focused, and the space itself is elegant without being intimidating. Sushi Blossoms isn't just serving great sushi. It's serving moments you'll think about for days.

$128 pp for Premium Omakase which is a great price for the set in West Side NYC! One of the more memorable omakase with a funny chef and great food with good company. Sushi Blossom is a pleasant surprise amongst the Chinese owned Omakase restaurants. The set is uniquely different from the general run of the mill Omakase restaurants, it is creative, and combines some interesting flavors!

This omakase place is pretty unique . There were a lot of pieces that you typically don't get when you go to an omakase which I love from grilled lobster to a piece called bird nest. I was so shocked how big the piece was the eel on my hand roll. If you want to go to an omakase and try other pieces that you normally don't get I recommend sushi blossom

Did my research and picked this spot for my birthday dinner and scored! Every single course was soooo satisfying and had me saying, "oh my god" in my head bc who speaks with food in their mouth? Some courses made my eyes roll back and they almost got stuck there bc it was so good. We went on a Saturday for 5:30PM and it was pretty busy, poppin', noisy - I'd say. Maybe it was me on my group. Our chef was very interactive so if you're expecting a nice quiet meal...this ain't the one. Go to Genki or Omakase room by Maaser if you want quiet. The workers were also very nice and friendly...that's always a plus! Don't want to keep blabbing on but I'm definitely coming back here whenever I'm in Manhattan bc it's to die for! (For me). I had a cute little dessert in a martini glass with a cute bear candle for my birthday. They also play the birthday song on the speakers just in case for those who don't want to be in the spotlight. I was not expecting that.

Sushi Blossoms was an absolute standout. We sat at the sushi bar and had an incredible experience from start to finish. Our sushi chef was fantastic--super friendly, funny, and genuinely interactive. You could tell he truly loves what he does, which made the experience even more enjoyable and personal. We did the 17-course omakase with the 3-ounce sake pairing which included 5 different sake, and every course was excellent. The fish was incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and thoughtfully paced. The sake pairing complemented each course perfectly without overpowering the food. Great vibes, amazing food, and top-tier service. Sitting at the bar is a must if you want the full experience. We'll definitely be back.

Made a reservation around 7PM on a weekday and the sushi counter was completely full! There are two sushi chefs and the receptionist was very sweet wishing us a happy anniversary which i noted in our reservation right away :) I love the atmosphere of the restaurant, super cute cat chopstick holders and a table area decorated with fake cherry blossom trees in addtion to the mostly standard layout of a sushi counter. We opted for the premium course which many people in the reviews also recommended and so glad we got it! all pieces of fish were very fresh, rice had great texture and seasoned well, and love the unique garnishments/ dishes all together that makes this place more creative while still letting the fish shine! I wish i got the sake pairing because it was actually quite cheap and the ones we bought on our own were so good. Saika "Yuzushu" - Yujacha! taste exactly like it, you barely taste the alcohol but i know its there. 4/5 Oze x Rose - my new favorite sake. sweet but not too sweet, much less sweet than the yuzushu. very well balanced. very clean! 5/5 our courses came with shima aji, king salmon tomato, lobster in some sort of broth, yellow jack, baby barracuda, oyster uni salmon roe, scallop foie gras, goma saba, akami, chawanmushi, toro, uni caviar cracker, yellowtail in some sort of vinegar broth, fish topped with dehydrated wagyu fat, "birds nest", eel and a very yummy panna cotta to finish off!

To drink, I had a Hot Organic Super Matcha Tea for 4.95. It was alright tea, and I wish teas were included in the price point, as otherwise, this place feels pretty traditional. In terms of food, I only ordered from the seasonal menu, so I'm not sure how the rest of the dishes are, but from what I had, I would go back for a light traditional meal. My appetizer was the Dashimaki Tamago/だし巻まき卵たま, or sweet savory omelet with daikon for $6.98. This came with three pieces along with a little dollop of grated radish. The pieces had a light sweetness to them along with a bit of savoriness. They were juicy and a bit bouncy while maintaining some softness. This was standard and good. My main dish was the $19.98 Beef Tan Tan Udon, or ground sirloin beef, spicy broth, baby bok choy, kikurage mushroom, scallions, and sesame seeds. While I have preferred udon from spots like Raku, the udon had a mild chew to it, and they were still good. The broth had a mix of sweetness and spiciness with a nice depth of flavor. The vegetables inside tasted fresh, and the meat added some richness. This was good as well. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to go here, but the food was good. If you're in the area and looking for no frills Japanese dining in a more comfortable atmosphere at pretty decent Midtown East prices, I would recommend this place.

Very cozy restaurant and the staff were attentive and friendly. Luckily their service is very fast so my family and I didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes for a table in the back. I really enjoyed their niku udon. The broth was flavorful but not too salty. The menu offered a variety of options, all reasonably priced between $10-20, ensuring great value for the quality provided. I would come back to Tensai for some comforting Japanese udon noodles!
