I found the quality of the sushi was pretty good for a sushi train. They were constantly making new sushi and adding it to the train therefore you were never really eating "old" sushi. If the sushi you wanted wasn't on the train, you had the option to order it off the menu and they get served to your table very quickly. There's nothing to complain about this place. It's quick, easy & you're able to go back to shopping on a full and satisfied stomach :)

Then as you walk into the humongous space you'll be amazed at the longest sushi train you've ever seen! It whirls, winds & bends throughout the entire space which is cool if you're decisive as if you aren't you'll miss the train & it could be a while till that dish comes back by you if it already hasn't been gobbled up by the crowds who frequent this joint. But its all about the experience so enjoy the train ride! The sushi chefs are busily going back & forth to the kitchen to get fresh new ingredients to work their magic, so theres constantly new dishes been put onto the train from your traditional rolls to black rice sushi & cornflakes encrusted sushi. There are cute little signs on plates which explain what certain fish or rice are, the benefits for those in the need to know what they're gobbling. Theres also a range of Japanese flavoured gelato on offer. Just remember to get the wait staff to calculate your bill before you go to the cash register to pay for all the plates you ended up stacking up. A great pop in for a quick snack but also a great environment to bring your friends, tantalise over the plates while they choo-choo past you. You can opt for the usual bar dining or there are actual benches that cater to groups so you're not having to play chinese whispers down the bench with your group.

Was the first one to come in and was given seat as soon as I entered. The sushi rolls on the menu looked appetizing so decided to go for Spicy Waka Roll (assorted sashimi, shallots, spicy sesame sauce). Food was prepared pretty quickly. More people started coming in as soon as my dish arrived. The combination of salad (mix of green and red leaves) and sashimi are amazing. The sashimi were fresh and the portion was pretty good even though it might seemed small when it is rolled over and cut into 8 pieces. The greens were crunchy and fresh making the whole dish chewy. Besides that the spicy sesame sauce, mayonnaise on the side and sprinkles of red peppers were a good combination. It has tangy aftertaste and I skipped the wasabi to have a better taste of the sauces. Price wise it was on the moderate level. At least the 8 pieces of sushi were pretty filling as the sushi master included quite a bit of rice. From the waiters conversation, it was pretty clear that they are Japanese and I did confirm with them. This place might be small but it definitely provided some authentic sushis.

The salmon was expertly presented, melt-in-your-mouth delicious, bathed in its citrus marinade and topped with generous portions of crunchy green onions and greens. The beef carpaccio looked amazing, too, although we did not get a chance to try it. We also had the decent scallops and the mediocre Waka roll, neither of which I particularly recommend, but the salmon carpaccio... You must make the trek to this restaurant if you're in Manly -- it may be the best dish I had during my 8-day trip to Sydney.

It happens to be my favourite sushi train on the north side of Sydney. I love going here for lunch or dinner. It's located on Victoria Street in Chatswood right outside the Chatswood Chase Shopping Centre. It's often busy but if you're in a small group or grabbing a quick bite by yourself you should be able to get a seat at the train right away. The wait staff are attentive which is a nice change as it's not always the case at sushi train restaurants. The variety of sushi is really good - fresh sashimi, grilled scallop, California roll, prawn sushi, salmon, baby rolls.. I could happily go on and on.. There are Japanese chefs busily preparing food in front of you and they are more than happy to make you a fresh plate of whatever you would like off their menu. There is also a selection of Japanese dishes on the menu which you won't find on the train but can be ordered from the wait staff. If you have any room left for dessert after sampling all the delicious sushi, I recommend ordering the green tea ice-cream off the menu. It comes in a sundae glass and there is enough to share between two. Although, it's so good you may not wish to share it with anyone else.

A step up from the local Sushi Train experience, the restaurant offers the familiar 'sushi on a plate' going round a track experience or you can enjoy the a la carte dining experience featuring a contemporary Japanese menu infused with traditional Japanese Izakaya dishes with Western ingredients & modern taste seated at a table. I advise you to make a reservation as I t can be very busy 6pm- 8pm Th, Fri,Sat. If you walk in without a reservation, you can expect to wait for about five to ten minutes to be seated. Joyce the manager usually welcomes you and organised your seating. The food choice is varied and easily ordered by the attentive wait staff. The Sushi plates on the rotating track are very good value for money. I like how you can order freshly made choices. There are so many to choose from! Sashimi- Salmon, Tuna, King Fish, Scampi, Scallops or Sushi favourites like inside out rolls - Salmon Tobiki, spicy soft shell crab, crumbled chicken, spicy tuna and seared scallops. Hot dishes are also available. Freshly fried or steamed Pork Gyoza, Karaage Chicken, Takoyaki Balls and Crab Claws. Salads - Soy Beans, Seaweed and mixed green salads add to your meal experience. The main a la carte menu choices are also my favourite. Plenty of choices - Tempura prawn,Tempura vegetables, Tora Karaage (chicken), Chicken or Waggu Beef Teriyaki. All dishes are served with rice. If you have room for it at the end you must try the Boom Alaska - Pandan meringue, green tea ice cream, sponge cake and Pandan curd. A mouth watering treat! I know some reviewers are saying this is NOT true Japanese cuisine but 'look alike food' created by Koreans and Chinese. Well I'm telling you - it doesn't have to be made by Japanese to taste like real Japanese food. Food ingredients are the same regardless of who makes it! End of story.
