Although it does not deserve its rap for being healthy, sushi remains an increasingly popular feature on Sydney's dining scene, with scores of business people descending on sushi shops in food courts, just like the creatively-titled Sushi Bar
And that's the thing with Sushi Bar... it's almost identical to its competition. The choices of sushi and other Asian food avaiable is exactly what you'd expect; nothing more and nothing less. The taste and quality of the food is also ok; again, nothing out of the ordinary. It's prices are reflective of its neighbours, and its location within a shopping centre in French's Forest is hardly inspiring.
There's nothing wrong with the food that is sold, the prices it's sold at or the service of the staff; but then, there's nothing exactly exceptional about it either. Words that spring to mind are «inoffensive»... «fine».... «filling». As the only vendor of its kind in the area, it has no direct competition; nobody to proclaim the superiority of its fresh produce/innovative menu/high-level service. And so Sushi Bar goes on, supplying average products at an average price with average service. Nothing wrong with that! read more
