Yes! A good and reasonably priced sushi bar is just what I've been wishing for in this area. And there it was, all along. Hidden behind a corner next to the City Hall.
I ordered a sashimi. The pieces were big and fresh, with a nice assortment of fish. The salmon was proper sashimi pieces, while the others were closer to nigiri pieces in size. Still, the 18 pieces + some avocado to substitute rice kept me full all evening. On the side I had a kimchi - this one was a bit too sweet according to me, but still delicious and fresh.
My company had two maki rolls, one with duck and one with tempura salmon. The rolls were HUGE! And it was not the rice making them big, but the filling. He claimed they were delicious - the only problem was that they were so big and slightly to loosely packed, making them hard to tackle with the chopsticks.
There's maybe 10-15 seating places, mainly on bar stools along the walls and window. The interior is fresh and simple.
Both me and my company felt like this is a place we will return to again and again and again. read more
