I feel like it was an item that was there to make it more suitable for American customers, but honestly it didn't really feel like it belongs as the sushi is more traditional, focusing on more simple flavors but with depth. The rice proportion is a little big, but not only that, i feel like the texture of the rice was a little on the mushy side, and it also lacked flavor. I was a bit disappointed that there were repeats in the deluxe nigiri since I am honestly ordering this so I can try multiple of their flavors at a simplified/refined state. i did end up ordering Saba(mackerel)/unagi(eel) separately as I was craving stronger flavors and I was curious as they had it on the menu, but it wasn't on the deluxe I had ordered.
