I visited Sushi-2-Go again on university for one of their bowls. I decided to get the salmon, and tuna bowl and had smoked eel added ($3) extra. I had a promo/coupon code for the free appetizer (dumplings). All in all, paid about $12 for what you see pictured. I wasn't terribly satisfied with the quality, or the quantity of protein included this time. I felt that adding a third protein resulted in me receiving less of the other two proteins, which shouldn't be the case. Sushi-2-Go is a futuristic concept for a " fast food" sushi restaurant. The restaurant has about 6 screens in which you order your food and pay. Your order is then called when completed, no need to interact with another human being if you've just snuck out of your house in slides and a tee shirt for a quick bite. Prices are very cheap comparable to sushi restaurants. Quality of sushi is a step or two above Publix sushi but definitely not the same if you were to dine in at a reputable establishment. I ordered the Gator roll, spicy salmon roll, and the Florida roll all for $13! As mentioned you get what you pay for but it was a tad better than expected. The lobby unfortunately wasn't the cleanest as they are located just across the dorms on campus and don't have that many people on staff to maintain the restaurant. However, you are not really expected to stay and eat hence the name. They are open until midnight. My family was wanting some Sushi so we decided to try Sushi-2-Go campus location. The restaurant was clean and they had a few tables to eat inside which we chose to use. Ordering was super simple and the addition of pictures on the digital menu was really helpful. Once we ordered, it took about 6-7 minutes to get our freshly made super tasty Tuna, Gator, Mambo Jumbo, and Sweet Potato Rolls. I ordered the delicious Tuna/Salmon bowl and substituted more Tuna in place of the Salmon. All the ingredients were fresh and our whole family thourougly enjoyed the tasty eats. This used to be one of our favorite places to grab something quick for dinner. Since it has changed ownership the food is terrible. The crunchy roll is basically deep fried cream cheese now, and the other rolls were bland with mushy rice. The first time it happened we thought maybe they were just getting acclimated. They recently underwent a menu revamp so now their menu includes sushi burritos and poke bowls along with the standard sushi rolls they've always had.
