We've been seeing Sheena for couples therapy for several months now, and we can honestly say she's…read morehelped us change the way we communicate, not just with each other, but with our kids too. This week, we walked in after a stressful trip to Disneyland (with two little kids, no less), and what could've turned into another argument actually became one of our most productive conversations. Sheena helped us slow down, name what was really going on under the surface, and find common ground instead of staying stuck in our usual dynamic of resentment or shutdown. We leave sessions feeling more like a team, even when we're dealing with big parenting challenges or feeling triggered. We've had therapists before who just gave advice or stayed too neutral, but Sheena actually gets in there with you and helps you work through the tough stuff. If you're a couple that loves each other but keeps hitting the same walls, Sheena is the real deal. We're so grateful for her.

Hello I am a woman age 39. I counselor referred me to Lilo. I was always unsure how I felt about…read moretherapy. I felt that "talking" cant solve everything. I scheduled my appointment and it was different and I was not fully open to it even after 1yr of appointments. I am saying this because I now understand that this is a journey. I never understood what taking accountability is, I only assumed it meant admitting you are wrong. My life flipped upside down 3yrs ago and only last year I finally got it. I went back to Lilo and she welcomed me with open arms and it felt so good. It felt so good to talk to someone that has seen my growth, Lilo during an appoint said to me after I shared "I am hurt and angry for you, this was not ok." No one has ever said that to me. There a little things that stick with you when you talk to a professional. There is a guidance and confidence when taking advice. Lilo is knowledgeable, empathetic, and really sees things from both sides. Her words of advice and confirmations have helped me become patient, have perspective, keeping my cool because everything is ok because I am doing the work. Weather life has pushed you off a cliff with no bottom, or put up a wall to stop you, please give therapy a chance. You deserve happiness. It takes time but just do the work and I promise you will feel it. Be open and honest. I love you.
