I had been a patient at this clinic for eight years and never had a problem, until the fall of 2022. I scheduled a filling on my lunch hour. I arrived on time and was taken back quickly. Only to be left there for 35mins. I understand that things get hectic and clinics run behind. Yet, they go to lunch at 1pm and I haven't even seen the dentist. So at that point, I left. I had to return to work. I was very upset. Now, Jan of 2023, I get a 90 day late notice of a "noshow" appointment. Laughable since they had me waiting for them for over 30mins. Guess they think their time is more important than anyone else's? The clinic didn't call to apologize, call to get my side or try to smooth things over. I came to Dr. Smith's office because I was in pain from a broken tooth and I was soo afraid of the dentist I lived three years with an open root showing and whining every time I bit into something on that side. Dr. Assandas ended up taking on my case getting me so comfortable and helping me get my smile to where it is today. I'm not fully finished yet... but I started with broken teeth, uneven, and stress fractures everywhere to here... One case of clear correct to straighten and now full top crowned (by choice) and now starting on my lower. I'm soo grateful to everyone at this office for helping me have my smile back. I have been "auditioning" dentists since moving to Las Vegas in 2011. Finally found one today with Dr. Susan Smith! First off, their communication was great starting with the phone call to make an appointment. All necessary forms were emailed to me before the appointment so no sitting in the waiting room wrestling a clipboard balanced on my knee!! The office is very nice and clean, open, lots of windows, very inviting. I was greeted immediately and only waiting about 5 minutes. Shannon took my X-rays in a professional and efficient manner. Dr. Smith came in after the X-rays were completed. She did the 2-3-5-7 number probing thing and explained exactly what she was doing and what the numbers meant. I've had this done before but this was the first time someone took the time to explain, with my own X-rays, what it meant now and, more importantly, what it means for the future. I finally have a clear idea of what's going on with my teeth and have approved a treatment plan which makes sense to me. Let me elaborate on the vibes of the place. Very low-key in a good way. The tension was so high in other places I tried that I swear I could feel it from the parking lot! I was never left alone in a room wondering what was going on. Remember, this was my very first visit to this dentist. They made me feel very comfortable...and not just by saying nice things. It just FELT good here. It doesn't appear as if they overbook. I went on a Tuesday at 9 a.m. When I came out, there were a couple of people in the waiting room, not ten thousand like other places! It seems to me that the 3 dentists at this place have actually BEEN to dental offices and have tried to break the mold of overcrowded reception areas, uncomfortable waiting rooms and anxious patients. Check out was smooth. Ebony explained their in-house insurance plan completely and clearly. I go back next month to start my periodontal treatments. At 68 years old, I seen a lot in my life. I'm confident and comfortable that I will be taken care of by Dr Smith and everyone at my new dental office! read more

Was a patient for many years. I went in recently for a regular check up and was told I needed a new crown even though my current crown was only 5 years old. My current crown had a little discoloration at the bottom. So they gave me an estimate that my insurance would cover half. I get the new crown and it turns out my insurance won't cover it because they won't cover it because it's just a cosmetic replacement! They'll only cover the crown if the tooth under the crown is in jeopardy of being damage. Like if the crown is cracked or has a cavity. This is something the dentist/billing would know. But they made it seem like I had to get it done. I would've waited if I'd known it wasn't an emergency but it's all about the money. I'm looking for a new dentist now so I hope it was worth it. read more

It was a very disappointing experience. My family loves your practice from staff to treatment they raved about your office, so I came as a new patient with high hopes. Though your staff was friendly, the cleanliness of the op was a disappoint. The windows, floor, chairs and cabinets were visibly dirty. The Hand sanitizer bottle at the edge of the sink looked like it has been there for ages, which made me question if it was being used or not. I almost walked out as soon as I sat down in the room but I tried to give benefit of the doubt. The assistant that took my x-rays, though she was kind, had to retake several of my x-rays. when I looked at the fmx I saw that many of the x-rays were foreshortened-which made me question if you could clearly diagnose off of them. I was always held to a high standard at the dental offices I assisted at and those x-rays would not be accepted by any doctor I've worked for. I felt quite rude wanting to leave, so I decided to stay and at least meet the doctor. Perhaps her care would make up for the rest. (I had asked for Susan since that's who my family sees and was not scheduled with her.) Doctor Deepa was nice, we discussed some problems I was having. But it didn't make up for the lack of cleanliness and poor x-rays. I will not recommend this practice. read more

I held off on writing this review for over two years because I wanted to see how things held up. First off, the dental hygienists here are phenomenal and do a great job. I needed two cavities filled in May 2019 and the dentist who performed the procedure (I checked, she's no longer with the team) botched them up. The fillings were sensitive for months. Dr. Smith did her best trying to correct the issue by shaving down the fillings (multiple times) which was painful to say the least. It was so bad I couldn't chew anything on the left side of my mouth because of how bad the filling was and sensitive it became. Air got underneath the filling and caused an infection so eventually I had to go to a different dentist and he did a root canal on the tooth because of all the damage. Now, the second filling that was placed has been acting up and causing discomfort. Turns out the second filling is cracked. I've had fillings placed before and none of them have given me as much pain and headaches as the fillings I had placed here. While I acknowledge that none of this is Dr. Smith's fault because she tried to fix the problem, I am very upset with the first dentist who messed it all up and am thoroughly dissatisfied with my miserable, multi-year, expensive experience. read more

Beware..they submit a different treatment plan to your insurance than what they actual did. Example...they charged my insurance for pin and build up when it was just a small filling and I had to pay a lot out of my pocket for that. They also charge $12.50 for each visit for PPE (which most insurance aren't covering) when they already use masks and gloves anyway. I think this office shady and I feel I was over charged with no clear explanation. The lady who checks you out is rude. She can't give you statements comparing their charges and what was submitted to insurance. Shady!! read more

I am a long time customer of this practice. I have been examined by all three dentists and they all are wonderful. This visit I commented that they must have trouble with their water lines clogging with calcium as I do at home. No problems, as they use bottled water for all dental work. No mineral build up. This dentist office is a SCAM Do NOT go there !!!!!!! they will over charge you and not charge insurance company. They will. Give you a summary of charges and then later tell you that you owe twice as much I went there for a scaling or deep cleaning and verbally was told 40 dollars per quadrant. For a total of 160 dollars Later I get a bill for over 1000 dollars. I I found out they charged my two different insistences for the same treatment and collected almost twice as much as they charged And then They didn't submit a charge to my insurance. And wanted me to pay them directly and then for me to call and collect from the insurance company myself. They were rude when I went in to ask about the bill. Eventually after months and luckily I kept all the summary of charges and EOB s form insurance company's. The front desk person who also does the billing came up some made up price to negotiate But eventually after showing them the statements they reluctantly reduced price to original estimate I do not recommend this place in good faith. This is the most squared away dental office I have ever used. They have been our dentists for about 4 years. The place is 4.0 in every area from dentist skills, hygienist's skills, office staff to scheduling practices and friendliness. My Hygienist is Brenda and she is quite amazing. I can't say enough about about Dr. Susan Smith. I had lock jaw for 2 weeks before I went to Urgent Care. The doctor there told me to take aspirin for the pain and if it gets worse see your doctor or dentist. I tried for 4 days to see my doctor. With no luck there, I called Dr Smith's office. She had me in first thing the next in the morning. She quickly diagnosed the problem and prescribed ibuprofen to help with the inflammation.
