Dr. Susan Pannullo and Weill Cornell were great.
I was diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma following a hearing exam with suspect results and then an MRI. Rather than act hastily she recommended that I wait to see if my tumor was still growing, since perhaps there would not need to be anything done due to its small size. Dr. Pannullo scheduled me for a follow-up MRI 6 months later. Calling her office was always pleasant with the patient coordinator Antonett who made sure that insurance and disability paperwork was taken care of and channeled to the correct persons. The new MRI showed tumor growth so on the following day after two consultations, one with her and one with the oncologist, it was decided that we would proceed with the surgery, make the surgical mask needed for the surgery and have a second hearing test all that same day. I came from out of town so this was very convenient for me not having to make more than one trip to the hospital. She and her staff were very organized making all the necessary appointments and schedules for the consultations and tests I can't say enough about my experience with Dr. Susan Pannullo as my surgeon and Dr. Jonathan Knisely as my oncologist.
It has been two weeks since my stereotactic surgery and all is going well. I will have a MRI follow up in 6 months and am staying positive that my acoustic neuroma will no longer be something I have to worry about. I am so very thankful to her and her team for the amazing job performed. I highly recommend Dr. Susan Pannullo and Weill Cornell Medicine. read more
