SLEAZY DENTAL OFFICE…read more This dental office is a total disaster. I went here for an exam and the receptionist tried to tell me that it was $125.00. I explained to her that I have Delta Dental Insurance and it should cost around $90 or less. She became indignant and claimed that I was not a good fit for their dental office. So, if they try to overcharge you, and you say anything, they will (triangulate) and attack you, and claim, "You're not a good fit" - it's ridiculous. I'm not a good fit because they can't cheat me out of my money. That is the definition of sleazy. The staff at this dental office are sleazy! DYSFUNCTIONAL DENTIST…read more Todd Esau's dental assistant said they needed a picture of my face so they could use it for my file. A picture of my face has nothing to do with my teeth - absurd. Todd Esau greeted me from the back of the dental chair (the invisible dentist). I asked him to come around so I could see his face and have a respectful greeting - something he was unable to figure out. Todd Esau was so dysfunctional that he was unable to display any common decency. Todd Esau kept spraying air on all my teeth (with bone loss) on the lower right, preventing him from being able to ascertain what tooth needed treatment. He recommended that I go back to California for my dental care. Overall, Todd Esau is completely and totally dysfunctional and the most negative person I have ever met. AVOID............. Go to Wichita!

When I came in for my next cleaning in June 2025 was asked again if I wanted to have the work done at that time. I agreed, was given the same estimate as before and paid the deposit asked of me. After having the procedure done was told at the front counter that my payment had more than doubled and that I was given an inaccurate estimate. When I told them I was going to pay what I was quoted because that's what I was quoted they said ok and I left. Got a bill a month later stating I had to pay. When speaking to Dr. Gillespie about it he said that "plans change from year to year" (like I should know that) and that he "can't expect his girls to run every estimate over again". Which is a very shady business practice. They had every opportunity prior to me having the procedure done to make sure I knew the correct price. This is a very shady business practice, and I can no longer trust that I know accurate pricing when it comes to dental procedures for myself and my family.

He explained everything to me in full detail before we began which I appreciate. The staff is very friendly, called to check up on me multiple times after the procedure. I will be back for sure. Hands down best dentist in this area.

Do not go to Aspen Dental…read more I was billed thousands of dollars for dental work that my insurance was supposed to cover. Aspen Dental failed to respond to repeated letters and requests from my insurance company, which has now delayed and blocked proper payment. I paid $3,000 out of pocket toward an $11,000 bill that should have been largely covered by insurance. Because Aspen Dental refuses to work with my insurer, the claim cannot be processed correctly, and they are now threatening to send the balance to collections--six months after the work was completed. I am stuck paying interest on a credit card for charges that should have been reimbursed months ago. This situation has caused significant financial stress and should never happen to a patient who has valid insurance. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend Aspen Dental to anyone.
