Found a Groupon for hot yoga - read about the benefits and decided let's do this!!! I tried a few of the classes on the unlimited month. The sumits 60 was not the first class I should of been trying - wish I could eventually build up to that level though. The restore and relax classes are nice when you just want to relax and stretch and enjoy the heat. My favorite class is with Joni on Wednesday mornings - the slow and flow class. It's just slow enough to keep up for me but not too fast and I love her enthusiasm and loooove the hot yoga aspect. Try it out.

Every time I go to a class, I feel welcomed by both the students and the teachers. I haven't done the power yoga class yet because I am still a beginner, but the hot yoga, slow flow, and sculpt are great classes. The room is ALWAYS hot so be sure to bring water!! The infrared saunas are bookable in one-hour time slots, and you get your own private space with a changing area and a shower, a sauna with Bluetooth connectivity, and wellness shots to take at the beginning and end of your session. If you want to come with a friend, there are two-people saunas available as well. There are different yoga and pilate classes available. However, space is limited. My guess is that the room can only hold 10 people, which is nice if you prefer being in a small group. The facility is clean, and the staff is nice. I have done a sauna session and taken a yoga class. The sauna session was relaxing, and the yoga class was a good workout. My body felt great after each experience.

But, they offer a bunch of other classes, mini-retreats as well . Some of which I do. I enjoy the community practice group. I always learn something new that I can use. The instructors are professionals in healthcare or folks volunteering their knowledge from years of experience doing what they are teaching and showing you how to do, which you can do or not, they don't get in my hair about it. They really take care of their facility and about issues of privacy and personal comfort. In my opinion I get a lot for my membership fee.
