This is a very well organized school. There are a lot of staff to support a structured learning environment for the children. Everyone is professional . The water is always clean. Classes are fun and educational at the same time. Prices are very reasonable. Classes for young babies are free for awhile, which is a great bonus

There were "thumbs up" and "high fives" given out in each class. My grandson is very shy and cried while being in the pool. I thought this would deter him from listening but his coach Brynn was very (and I put an emphasis on very) patient. She also had another little girl and both received great encouragement from her. There's different skill levels which go by age and I love that. They have a portal online which you can find all the information and your account there. We are going to continue to take him there especially after speaking with the site supervisor in which she is very eyes and hands on. They offer so much and there's different locations to choose from. Highly recommended.

Super affordable, super accessible, and low-key in the best way. If you're someone who just wants to get in, get your workout done, and not deal with the whole selfie/influencer gym scene... this is it. YMCA's are also notorious for being very involved in the community . You can find all kinds of events and programs year round . Most people don't realize you could grab a day pass for around $15 (family pass is like $25), which is such a good deal for everything you get. Memberships start @$35. They've got all the essentials--gym, group x classes, pools, basketball court, lockers, showers. Nothing fancy at all but everything you actually need. They also offer sponsorships for those in need . Kinda a " no one gets turned away " philosophy. The staff here were also great. I was greeted right away, did a quick waiver, and they gave me a full tour without rushing it. Answered all my questions and made it really easy to feel comfortable walking in as a first-timer& Overall just a really easy, no-pressure environment. Definitely coming back to actually get a workout in next time.

I can get them in the same class at the same time as long as they are swimming at the same level. Our girls have been in the water their entire lives as we have a pool. Even so last year they didn't like being splashed or getting their faces wet. This year they are getting their faces wet and they have our little one swimming down to the bottom of the pool to pick up rings. The both are able to float on their backs for 30 seconds. They do a fabulous job here. This year their teachers are Mr. Kyle and Miss. Ella. and Miss. Liz. They had Miss. Ella last year and adore her. Mr. Kyle and Miss. Liz do a great job as well. They missed Mr. Cooper this year. Our girls are late bloomers as swimmers, but even if they swam like fish they would never be alone by a pool or unsupervised. Not being pros at their age does not concern me. They are amazing and doing great. Everyone has their special gifts. They are getting better every week. The recreation center will notify you if lessons are canceled due to weather. They don't do lessons if lightening is within 10 miles. They will call, email and post on their Facebook page if they need to cancel. The gal who runs the office is a sweetie. We definately will be back next year. I wear a lot of hats and I think it is a treat for them to have others to guide and teach them.

He started with very little swim skills and had always been a bit fearful of the water. Taydem made him feel super comfortable and he looked forward to lessons with her each day. She was always very friendly and professional while also making the lessons fun for him! The techniques she used were easy for him to catch on to and remember. I am very pleased to say his safety and comfortability in the water improved greatly over the course of his lessons! We will be doing another semester this summer just to allow him more time to build upon the skills he has learned. Overall, our experience with Kidtastics has been great and we would highly recommend them and Taydem!

We had an incredible experience with Kidtastics, specifically our instructor Tori Fraga. We decided…read moreto commit to two weeks of 1:1 swim lessons at our home for 2 weeks, (8 lessons, 30 mins each), because despite almost 2 years of weekly group swim lessons at local swim schools, I wasn't confident my 5-year old was truly water safe. I worried about her overconfidence in the pool (thinking she could swim because of the lessons), yet not knowing how to get herself to the side of the pool and out, or swimming without assistance safely. The local swim schools seemed to focus on specific skills like floating on her back and wouldn't target other skills without her doing this, despite her having ear issues that made this very uncomfortable. At the end of the day, that wasn't going to keep her from drowning and I wanted her to be water safe, then start learning strokes. Tori listened to our experience and goals for Michaela and exceeded our expectations. By the end of two weeks, Michaela was not only completely water safe (able to swim to the side of the pool and get out without assistance), but also learned freestyle, backstroke and butterfly, two types of dives and able to dive for items at the bottom of the pool without issue. After the lessons concluded, Michaela swam in our pool for 45 mins with zero support and even practiced strokes and dives. This level of skill would have taken years of weekly lessons and much more money spent in a swim school. This was absolutely worth the investment and daily time commitment for two weeks. Michaela and our whole family adores Tori; her enthusiasm for swimming and teaching was palpable. She built a lasting relationship, connection and impact on Michaela, beyond just advancing her swimming skills. Thank you, Kidtastics and Tori!! We would recommend Kidtastics to any family with a child that has any level of swim goals.
