I've been going to surprise chiropractic for a couple years. Dr Verloop and Dr Legg are fantastic. The staff is friendly and helpful and always makes It easy to make an appointment. I highly recommend this office. Professional and accommodating with different insurances. I've been coming to Dr. Legg since 2017 when he was with a different practice. I have some issues with my back from an old work injury and have big flare-ups. I have an L3/L4 injury and sciatic nerve issues. My low back now has some arthritis. I have come in all locked up at least 5 times. I went from barely being able to move, limping from pain and not able to sleep to being able to resume my normal activities. Dr. Legg has helped me formulate a care plan to alleviate some of my major issues. He does a great job identifying my pain points without me saying exactly where I hurt. He knows travel hurts me and my back flare-ups. More than 1.5 -2 hours traveling causes excruciating low-back and sciatica flare-up. He will work with me to proactively help me before and after a trip. I've seen Dr. Verloop when Dr. Legg was unavailable. I found him to be effective in giving me relief as well. read more

I first saw Dr. Verloop several months ago to establish myself as I'm new in AZ and to get just a routine adjustment as I wasn't in any pain. I had recently seen a chiropractor in LV NV who diagnosed my pain as not being because my back was out but because my pelvis was drastically out also making my right leg 3/4" shorter then my left. He treated me and relieved all the pain and balance issues I was experiencing and my leg dropped to the same length as the other, proving his point. After 40 years of chiropractors I was finally properly diagnosed and adjusted perfectly. This was in one visit! I went to Dr Verloop on a recommendation of a friend in Surprise. I explained the experience I had in LV and asked that he respect that and adjust my pelvis just as a precaution as I had no pain. After taking a series of X-rays he insisted my back was the problem and then said what I dread hearing from a chiropractor "you'll need to come 3x a week for 4 weeks, then 2x then maintain at 1x". My best chiropractors never recommend this and have said this is reserved for the most severe cases which I wasn't. Dr. Verloop adjusted my back using the plunger device. I was very sore after leaving but figured that was probably normal. I skipped a day and then went back still sore. But the next adjustment didn't relieve my ache. I went a third time and this time my back hurt after being adjusted. I waited a week and went a few times more hoping to get relieved but he didn't do that. I told Dr. Verloop the truth, that I had not come there in pain but had gotten increasingly worse with his adjustments. He only explained that "sometimes this can happen and I understand if you want to see a different chiropractor". I tried two more visits but he could not undo what he had done to hurt me. Eventually I had to drive to LV and have my first chiropractor undo the damage he did. My left leg upon arriving was now 1 + 1/2" shorter then the other and my pain was constant and at times excruciating. He adjusted my pelvis and applied other treatments which finally after only one day of care (although I stayed or 3 treatments to be sure) was able to bring me back to the condition I was in when I first walked through the doors of Suprise Chiropractic. I should add that my wife witnessed the discrepancy in the length of my legs in Las Vegas and then, them returning to normal once my pelvis was adjusted correctly. I seriously thought of suing Dr. Verloop for my expenses, but understand that he meant me no harm, I feel he isn't cruel, I think he is only incompetent. read more

I'm new to the area and my mom RAVED about Dr. Verloop and how he has helped her for the past few years. For the past two decades I have been dealing with occasional (and very painful) muscle spasms and lower back pain caused by a car accident long ago. I started going to Dr. Verloop after I messed up my back. He had me take a quick x-ray at the back of his office with one of his staff ladies, which both are fantastic. He saw where a disc was swolen and after a few weeks of going twice a week, all pain was gone. Always greeted with a smile and I seldom have to wait. All staff are very professional and Dr. Verloop does a great job adjusting my neck and back whenever I go. if you need a chiropractor, this office and Dr. come highly recommended. read more

Went to this place for about 3 months. Admittedly, my back problems subsided from the treatment I received from Dr. Verloop. However, customer service was somewhat of an issue. I can recall asking about exercises I could do to further resolve the issues I was having. Dr. Verloop recommended one or two things, but when I asked if there was anything else I could do, his reply was that I would need to pay ($) for additional advice. Time was also an issue and I felt as though I was hurried in and out. I stopped going to the office. On a side note: His wife worked the front counter and was polite (no complaints there). She was very pleasant. Also, I received a birthday card from the office, which was a really nice gesture (albeit two years after I stopped going to the office). Overall: The treatment helped, but the Dr.'s people skills and impatience was an issue for me. read more

When I transferred from another chiropractor from another state, he took the time to call her and discuss my situation (after he had received the x-rays she sent him). I had success visiting Dr. Verloops office. I was in an accident and needed help to correct some issues. Everybody was friendly and seemed to really enjoy talking to the patients. The dr referred me to another dr to get an MRI which showed some issues that he could not assist with. I was then referred to another office and am currently in the process of continuing to heal. I don't think I would be on such a quick road to recovery had I not went into Dr. Verloops office and I am grateful for all the help they have provided. The staff even worked around my schedule and got me in a little earlier than normal so I could get therapy but not interfere too much with work. They also entertained my son the few times he needed to accompany me while I received laser treatment. The whole team was wonderful! I will go back for follow up adjustments and continue calling him my chiropractor. read more

This was by far the WORST chiropractor I have ever been to. I had to move from room to room, up and down all for nothing. I will NEVER be back to this place again. I could not believe when Dr. Verloop said my visit was over, I was so shocked and offended that all I could do was walk away. I later left a detailed message on their website as I do feel they need to know when service is poor, but for fear of what I might have said to office receptionists and Dr. V I had to walk away and really examine the situation. The visit was choppy and entirely too short. He literally had me in his office actually working on me for about five minutes, maybe even less. Although I did have to sit down by the water cooler for a good half hour. Ultimately, this is what I get for not doing a better search for a chiropractor. Even if this guy was the last Chiropractor on earth, I would rather pay a child to walk on my back then come back to this office. What a INCREDIBLE waste of time. read more

I hurt my back sliding down a hill and landing on my butt. I went to Mayo Hospital emergency room where they took X-rays and gave me pain pills and muscle relaxer. After a week of worsening pain I decided to go to a Chiropracter for the first time in my life. I found Dr. Verloop on the internet and consider that event one of the luckiest of my life. He took X-rays and pointed out the problem with my spine. After only a few sessions I was feeling much better and now after several more sessions I am as good as new. After reading many wonderful reviews, I contacted Dr. Verloop's office to see if he could adjust my back. I had been having back issues for years and ended up in Urgent Care after a crippling muscle spasm. Dr. Verloop took some xrays and I found out that my back was in pretty bad shape. After suffering for 6 months with planters fasciatias, also referred to as a heal spur, I found great relief with Dr. Verloop's treatment and recommendations.
