I've spent extensive time with Dr. Jensen Moore working on my chronic back pain issues. My upper back has been in knots and pain for over a decade and I have tried a variety of treatments from chiropractic, massage, cryotherapy, etc. His ability to listen and then really educate me on some of the systemic issues behind my pain and recommend exercises to strengthen/repair vs just treat made a huge difference! I felt more relief after a few sessions with him than I did in a long time, and he goes the extra mile to help understand the "why" behind the treatments and follow up on the work I'm putting in between sessions to get better. I have been to a few different chiropractors throughout my life but I think I found the right one's. As a nurse I appreciate the evidence-based medical approach. Rather than shaking my hand and cracking my spine- they started with a thorough examination and X-rays- this was followed by a detailed treatment plan to address my subluxations/misalignments and pain and after treatment is completed it's just going to be maintenance. I like that there is a plan for treatment based on what they saw in X-rays and exam. Bonus points because they take my insurance. I have now had a couple of adjustments that I have never had a typical chiropractor do and I am only 3 weeks in and starting to feel results. They are diverse in their treatment plan and don't just perform the same standard adjustments every other Dr I have visited used as go-to's. Be aware that another Chiropractor, Dr. Moore has been added to the practice. I don't think Dr. Moore is very skilled and I was not advised that he would treat me, not Dr. Mitchell. In addition, Dr. Moore is not in network with my insurance while Dr. Mitchell is. I heard others in the waiting room that were surprised to find out they would be treated by Dr. Moore. I wont have Dr. Moore treat me again as I am unsure of his skill and disappointed in how they tried to slide this new, out of network provider onto me without full disclosure. read more
