Group lesson with Lindsey.
Von L.

I'm a woman age 47, first time surfer, and I had the time of my life during my surf lesson. This is a professional instructor who makes learning easy, even when the surf isn't perfect. I will recommend Surfing' NSB to everyone!

My mom (age 68), daughter (4) and I (41) took surf lessons with Lindsey at Surfin' NSB and couldn't be more thrilled or satisfied with our lesson. Professional, through and fun; Lindsey round-robined between the three of us beautifully!! We all caught and ride a few waves! If you've thought about surf lessons Surfin' NSB is your place, their professional instructors, personal attention and great prices are sure to give you skill and a love for the sport. We will be seeing them again! {TheFrugalTravelMom.com}

My son and I took a lesson today with Jamie, and we are hooked. I was our first time surfing. My son is only 6 and she was great with him. She had him up and surfing right away. He loved it!

Marcie was great.

Had a great time, Marcie was awesome with my kids 11 and 15. Everything was smooth from initial contact, booking and timeliness. Two thumbs up!

Lindsey was a great instructor and by the end of the lesson I was able to read the swells and surf on my own.

It was delicious. The latte art on top was a nice touch. Their menu had some interesting sounding drinks--uniquely flavored smoothies, coffee, and teas. The store also had some cute merchandise. Think swimsuit shopping sucks!!?? Not anymore thanks to Bikini Co. in NSB. It's so refreshing to…read morehave a swimsuit store with inclusive sizing. There was a swimsuit situation in my family so we looked up available options. Bikini Co. popped up and they were open on Sunday! Yay! We headed there as soon as they opened at 11. Leah greeted us immediately and asked about sizes. She showed us how the racks were organized & sized and I was surprised she had so many options available. They have so many styles to choose from whether you're looking for something that's barely there or a swimsuit that offers more full coverage. Even the bra size tops are available for the fullest figures. We all tried on at least 5 suits that fit well and had a tough time deciding between which ones to purchase!! Even when we found a top that worked but couldn't find a matching bottom, Leah helped us find bottoms that would coordinate and look great with the tops. We've had bad luck in the past with purchasing suits online (ugh) or trying on for hours and giving up after being discouraged. The experience changed our outlook on swimsuit shopping and showed us that the experience can be enjoyable. Next time we need new suits, I know exactly where we'll be heading. Thanks so much Leah for your help!

I needed a lighter bathing suit option so I decided to swallow my anxiety and visit Bikini Company. I'm so glad I did. Felicia warmly greeted me and set me at ease. She's very patient and found a nice selection for me to try on. I bought a cute yet supportive tankini set that was pretty and no heavy fabric! Plus sized gals- don't be afraid to visit this store- very friendly and accommodating for all body types!

I still consider myself a beginner, I know next to nothing about the ins and outs of surfing other than how to get up on the board and that sharks are cool...when behind glass.Luckily, the guys were willing to explain the pros and cons among the different boards. Whether I had a question about foam vs epoxy or what length board I should be riding, they were more than willing help out and give solid advice. Even though my friend and I decided to carry our boards down to the beach, the guys at Nichols offered to drive the boards down for us. I've rented from different places in Cocoa, but if you're in the New Smyrna area and looking to rent or buy an affordable board, I would definitely recommend this shop. They've been around for a while and so they're reliable, and like I said, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable--they're out to spread the love of the sport not just to make another sale.

This was the 3rd bike shop we tried, so we were desperate. The first shop no longer rented bikes…read moreand the second was closed for a few days. We rented two rusty 7 speed bikes, each with problems: a wiggly seat, had to disengage the front brakes as they rubbed the tire, we were told that the tires would be inflated but they were soft, etc. We wanted them from late Thursday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. Though it was three 24 hour periods the charge was going to be for 4 full days so we paid for a full week. Chuck, the owner, dropped off the bikes and said he would contact us about pick up on Sunday. We never heard from him. We texted and called him multiple times Monday morning as we had a flight to catch and did not want to just leave the bikes at our Airbnb. As we couldn't reach him we ended up driving them back to his shop and leaving them locked up there. We didn't hear from Chuck until we were already home. Very odd call. He claimed that one of the bikes was not the one he rented us. This makes no sense as we have pictures from each day and it is absolutely the same bike. I put a hold on my credit card in case he was going to try to charge me for a new bike. The whole thing was very weird.
