While we didn't buy anything because we were headed to a show and didn't want it to wilt in the hot car. We were pleased by the variety of offerings. Theodore favorite is rainbow chard and they had some for sale. The staff was friendly, it pay what you can with suggested prices and for those who can't afford veggies you can check out in a special line with staff assistance. I was delighted to discover this hidden gem and will be back to support them!

I love the concept of making fresh food accessible to everyone and anyone. It's such a great mission. The highlight for us was the nature play area; my little one could have stayed there for hours. They've done a fantastic job creating an outdoor experience that's genuinely fun and engaging for kids of all ages. I also loved the "lead experiences" they host every hour. We joined the chicken feeding, which was a huge hit thanks to Daniel! We felt very safe throughout our visit, and the security team was incredibly helpful and a special thanks to Stephanie for that. We're already looking forward to our next trip back!

Thank goodness for this facility and for the kind individuals who work there. I appreciate you as…read morethe current and poor state of California EBT isn't so much "bad" business as it's "not" business. They place an undue strain upon folks without resources and do not operate by what a reasonable person might expect. Were it not for the CRC, many folks would be doing without. They also provide other services and help in finding what they cannot.

I have applied for every state resource, sought all available grants, and was referred here more than three weeks ago. It took me two weeks to speak with Karina. I obtained money through a GoFundMe created for me and my children after the terrible events, and I managed to come up with a deposit for a home. However, I am unable to pay this month's rent. On the day of my interview, I was praying for the assistance this program claims to provide--financial independence, resources to help victims maintain safe and permanent housing, and the ability to live safely and freely. But since I didn't stay passive while waiting for Karina to find time in her schedule and instead stayed in survival mode to care for my children, I do NOT qualify for this financial assistance. She told me I have to wait to reapply after I get evicted (a three-day notice is in hand today), but that is not enough to meet the program's qualifications. I will not give up. I plan to write a letter to the board of directors of this program, along with all the donors, to explain how I was treated and how a little help could have improved my situation. I also suggest including the requirement that applicants must be homeless in the flyer. Furthermore, allowing only one person to make the final decision and not considering how an eviction affects a mother desperately trying to rebuild her life is heart-wrenching.

I understand that the parking is for in-store customers only. But the moment I stepped out of my car, a woman came running out of the store and started yelling at me, saying the parking was for those businesses only. I hadn't even walked away from my vehicle yet, and she had no idea where I was going. For context, I'm a Type 1 diabetic, and my blood sugar suddenly dropped very low. In that moment, I urgently needed food or I risked being unsafe to drive. My boyfriend was with me, but he isn't insured on my car and doesn't know how to drive a manual--and she still insisted that I make him take my car. On top of that, it's not safe for me to be walking around alone when my blood sugar is that low. I calmly explained the situation and told her I just needed a quick snack and would be back in under five minutes. Despite that, she showed zero empathy and continued yelling. At that point, my priority was my health and safety. I also didn't feel comfortable leaving my car unattended given her aggressive behavior. I waited a few days to write this, but as a Type 1 diabetic, this situation was genuinely scary and upsetting. This happened Saturday in the late afternoon. Situations like this deserve more understanding and basic human compassion. Please do better.
