What a disappointment. We staid here due to the over hype…read moreof people announcing the resort as "amazing" online. The restaurants did not deliver, the day we arrived we visited Quinn's. We were sat on a high top table after we said we had 3 small kids. I asked if the high chair was as high as the table and we were told yes. To my surprise when the high chair came it was the height of a regular chair to which my toddler kept sliding off. We ordered the kids food first so it would come out "quicker". The food took about 45 mins to an hour to come. When I mentioned I had a shellfish allergy I was told I could not eat their French fries, I could not have anything that was fried since it was all with the same oil. I ordered the burger on their menu which after waiting for my food I was told I could also not have that. I ended up eating a regular cheese burger. We said we wouldn't return, but at dinner time there are apparently 5 restaurants at the resort. Some don't allow children, another requires a dress code, so in reality you have 3 restaurants to choose from. We returned to Quinn's for dinner, where we waited an hour for our food after ordering. We were told the kitchen was backed up, but the restaurant was not full and mind you there are 5 other restaurants on property. When our food arrived, the ceviche that was ordered was completely dry. To be honest the food was below average. I'd recommend anyone staying here to eat OUTSIDE the hotel. We also tried the other restaurant the Polynesian one. The food was average, it also took a very long time. On the third evening we dinned outside of the hotel and the service was much better. The services from the waiters was fine however the kitchen needs to improve. The breakfast restaurant with the buffet is designed so you pay the high price of $44 for a buffet. We ordered something from the regular menu because some people weren't going to eat enough to make the $44 worth it. The food took so long, it's almost as if they do it on purpose so you're more likely to choose the buffet, pay extra to get your food immediately. Mind you, some of the things ordered were waffles, which were available on the buffet side immediately made. For the $600-$1000 that this hotel costs a night. I do not find the service and attention worth it. The rooms need upgrades, staff takes a long time to answer the phone, however when you call from and outside line, they answer immediately. You're better off staying at the Hilton, and paying less.

Looks and feels like a private Luxury Condo complex, have been here 5 years ago and loved it then…read moreas I do now. Right on the Marco Beach and OMG those sunsets every night. This complex is made up of private condos as well as hotel units. Beautiful rooms with kitchen area for cooking if you wish but for us it's a great way to make a quick breakfast and get out to enjoy the beach or pool area. Small pool but very nice with bar and food service. This hotel is in a great location, walking distance to some very enjoyable restaurants, stores, and next door is a JW Marriott that lets you enjoy their bars and restaurants after 5 pm. Overall would definitely return again and would recommend this hotel for those that like a smaller feel than a massive conference style hotel. My only recommendation is staff needs to be a bit more present and accommodating to guests needs. With that said you feel as those you are at your own private condo with room service and that's pretty cool FYI they also have a great high end Italian Restaurant on premises called Sale e Pepe that serves delectable dishes, make sure you make reservations, tables go quick

Some owners use the property manager on site, others use VRBO or AirBnB. Each unit is kept up by the owners. Some are in great shape, some are not. Check the individual room ratings and pictures to choose. The building was once a jewel and it does need some work. But, for a short trip, beachfront property walking distance to and from the restaurants it is worth it. Many complain that it wasn't what it used to be and it isn't, but it's about 1/3 to 1/2 the price of the Marriott and Hilton. If you know before you go... it will be great.

Exceptional Stay - A Hidden Gem on Marco Island! I enjoyed…read moremy stay at the Lakeside Inn immensely! The location is absolutely perfect--situated in a very private and extremely safe neighborhood. One of my favorite parts of each day was enjoying the gorgeous view of the small lake right off of my private balcony. The efficiency studio was flawless and had everything I needed, including a full setup with a stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and all the necessary utensils and cookware. It made cooking my own meals incredibly convenient, especially since the grocery store is less than a 3-minute bike ride away! The amenities are fantastic; the pool was pristine, kept at the perfect temperature, and I happily spent many days relaxing out there. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. The employees are so grateful, helpful, kind, and caring--it's obvious they genuinely love their jobs. A huge shoutout to Nicole, Dianna, and Christine for their wonderful hospitality! The cleaning staff was also on top of absolutely everything. The room was spotlessly clean, and whenever I needed a quick replacement, like extra trash bags, they were at my door in no time. I can't recommend the Lakeside Inn enough and look forward to returning!

The bed was very comfortable with soft pillows. The office offered free amenities like bottled water, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, soap, etc. free for the taking. While we typically stay at extremely high-end hotels for a quick overnight stay, this was a good choice.

This was the worst experience ever…read more We walked into a dirty and unsensitized room - it was used by another family before we arrived and it was missed by the cleaning crew (this was confirmed by the head of the sanitation crew at the resort) I had to clean dirty beds with private part hair and long black head hair in the beds, I washed all sheets, pillows and blankets and cleaned all the bathrooms including toilets with urine left in them from other people, but I couldn't imagine my kids using this facility without me cleaning it. The office was closed due to our arrival day being Saturday and it was also Easter break so the office didn't reopen until the following Tuesday when we brought this up with the manager he offered us a 50.00 dinner voucher for my troubles. It was very insulting and disrespectful. When I told him that we will speak with his manager Michael's response was " good luck with that " We honestly looked for another facility but again it's Florida on Easter weekend everything was booked. PLEASE BELIEVE ME AND DONT RENT HERE - THE TREATMENT IS HORRIBLE AND THE MANAGER NEEDS TO FIND ANOTHER JOB - HIS MANAGERIAL SKILLS ARE NOT SO MANAGERIAL. Actually the head of the sanitation crew was apologetic and had more common sense than Michael (the manger) did.

Club Regency is a condo community with mostly regular timeshare owners that come year after year for 1-3 weeks. It's small and homey and that's why I love it. Each building is 3ish stories with the first being parking and the top 2 being 2 bed / 2 bath condos. They do a good jump of updating everything throughout the years and the staff is always friendly. Again. This isn't a giant luxury hotel. If that's what you're looking for you're going to be disappointed. If you are looking for a friendly community to have a relaxing vacation sipping drinks on the beach and grilling at the pool this is your place. There is plenty of space for everyone and you won't have to fight for space like some of the other spots. Long gone are the days there were more lizards than people on Marco but if you ignore the giant castle hotel next door sometimes you can revive the feeling of what it used to be like.

When we complained they offered to refund $351. Getting it however took 3 weeks while they and booking.com pointed their fingers at each other. I spent Hours trying to resolve it. If they'd just given us the correct room it wouldn't have been a problem for anyone. The management of the hotel got downright nasty and sent me an email telling me to stop bothering them!! I finally was able to get booking.com to talk directly to the Inn to resolve the issue. Good - We liked the room - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a lanai. We were on the end right over the restaurants and the stage. We actually liked having the nightly music. We made cocktails, pulled our chairs out to the railing and enjoyed the show. It ended at 9pm, so early enough to still relax in your room if you wanted to. The strip of restaurants and bars was perfect, the food was good and you could go down to get a meal or a snack or a drink. The suite was large enough for 4 of us and we played cards at the dining table. Not so good. I ended up in the room over the bars - there was a light in the stairwell that glowed into our room. It was impossible to sleep. I complained to the manager and he tried to remove the lightbulb but no go. He went to home depot and got a blackout shade and installed it in our room. So that was helpful. I can't believe no one ever complained before. Housekeeping was bad. We had to ask every day, and they still barely showed up to do anything. I finally would wait to see the cart outside and take my own towels and soap. We got into an argument with the manager because our friends broke a bottle in our room and we asked if someone could bring a broom and vacuum to sweep it up. They said they did when they obviously hadn't. We went and got the manager and showed him the remaining glass on the floor. He was apologetic. Our A/C did not work when we showed up and we told them. 2 days later they put a whole new A/C unit in our suite. The pool was servicable but not particularly nice. Too far away and boring. No amenities. A cocktail bar or music would have been nice. No bathroom except a porta-potty outside the gate. Yuk. The kitchen was nice - but there weren't really the right things in there to make anything! Not even a bowl. No toaster. 1 knife. So a whole nice under equipped kitchen was pretty useless. Staff was frequently not in the office and did not follow through on our requests. We paid $3900 for a 7 night stay or $557 a night average. I've never paid that much to stay anywhere - for that price I'd expect premium services and great accommodations and a fancy pool. Way too expensive.
