The first project was a classic Turner-made desk mic that came with some vintage 11M gear I was gifted from a family friend. That repair didn't do as well as planned as the mic element was bad and simply was irreplaceable (NOS elements just not found anywhere!) However, Bill W. (owner/proprietor) and one of his techs, "RP", gave it their best. It's back home now but still doesn't work. Rats. Once that microphone arrived home I then entrusted the reconditioning of my classic Palomar 90a 40/20/15/10 meter 'blue face' linear amplifier to Bill and his team and sent that off to Gainesville last month. I requested that they perform a complete operational check on the amp, as well as optimize it for 10M operation, including installing a small 12v fan to cool the two sweep tubes and replace any dead capacitors and resistors. Bill and RP did just that and returned the amp in record time! Yes, it was pricey, but I now have a classic, high-performing, and stable amplifier for my ham radio equipment that will likely last the rest of my life! Five Stars for good customer service, excellent technical work, and a fast turnaround. Was amazed when the shop refused to replace a $5 screen protector at no cost after customer was inconvienced for two days without a phone. To compound it, it was the phone owner's birthday with no phone, out of town, and attending a birthday party. Who doesn't want to take pictures at a surprise birthday party and then the next day for their own birthday lunch. Thanks for the customer no service. Up until the incident with protector, I thought the service okay. The lack of desire to fully repair the phone to me shows lack a respect for customer.

Several weeks back, my wife's 2 yr old, hire quality and expensive laptop would no longer charge. The computer manufacturer uses (as do many others) a very flimsy pin to connect to internal computer battery, et al to charge. With time, the connection no longer works even after wiggling that manufacturer claims may need a pricey new board. Well, guys at Clever Tech were able to use the extra USB-C port to charge with needed DC charger. All for $80 vs hundreds. Awesome job, highly recommended :-)

This past week my laptop all of a sudden the screen would blink, the word LOCK displayed, the…read morescreen then would go black, and finally the computer would turn off. Of course I googled LOCK and had no success what so ever. I googled and Clever Tech came up. I called and spoke to Kevin and told him I had a huge presentation the following week and I needed my laptop fixed. Kevin said bring the computer now. I brought it to him and he saw the problem. The great news is he called me and told me it was a corrupt video driver. Not only did he fix the driver, he cleaned my keyboard, and he cleaned up my startup sequence that was taking at least 5 minutes to boot my computer. It now takes about 30 seconds. I was only charged $119 that included a charge of $30 for expedited services. Clever Technology has won my future business and I have told at least 5 friends about my experience.
