I used to tear all the batter off my portion of haddock and scoff it down in three bites. Hang on, I've just realised why I was a chubby kid! Now the menu has got a bit more healthy. They even do grilled fish. As well as pots of tea, they serve wine now - chardonnay, pino grigio and rioja. My friend and her family took their dad here for his birthday and brought champagne to drink with their fish and chips. Now that is class. They also do a very nice looking lunch special for £5.95, which is scampi, a bread roll, some salad and a soft drink. It's gotta be had!

It was a shame considering how good the fries were, essentially perfect. Another thing that bothered me is the restaurant is open to the patio, where some customers were smoking while having a meal.
