Ramen isn't available to us where we live in southern spain, so We were pretty excited to find…read moreramen available in this area. Although it was almost 90 degrees outside, this didn't stop us from indulging in something we missed so much. the menu is pretty basic, offering the soy sauce and miso flavors for the ramen. They also Offer curry dish but we decided to skip that. Small appetizers are on the menu such as gyoza and chicken karaage. We opted for the miso ramen, gyoza and chicken karaage. The gyoza and chicken karaage tasted fine and enough to share for two people. My husband got overly excited and wanted extra meat and noodles in his ramen and our server mentioned us if we ordered the larger portion of the ramen, it came with extra everything. (For an extra 2€, thats a great deal!). Our miso ramen tasted good, the egg was boiled just right and the pork was tender. I felt like the broth was missing something but after adding chili pepper, it helped. Turns out the larger order of ramen for my husband was more than he could handle. The portion for the larger ramen bowl looked to be good enough for 2 people to share. Service and food were good and we would probably come back if we are in the area.

This newly opened restaurant is from the same owner as the popular Japanese Tora both are in the…read moreneighbourhood Ruzafa in Valencia. They are specialised in Ramen. I had my Japanese friend with me who explained to me that this is a very popular dish in Japan and that quality of the broth is very important and that it takes lots of time to make, so mostly it is a dish you get in a bar specialised in ramen. The decor of the restaurant and the menu card are pretty basic but that is what fits this concept. Enough delicious dishes to choose from. We had some edamame and amazing gyoza to share with a Valencian white wine. The ramen was delicious way better than any noodles I have ever had. The portion was really big and I could not finish but o my.... I truly tried!! Service is quick and you can have a look in the kitchen where the Japanese owner is making his art! My friend told me in that in Japan she would also eat ramen after partying !! Well I can tell you I like this idea much better than a kebab ;) Tip: go early as they do not take reservations. Tip: have a look at my youtube channel for a nice video review as well @toursinvalencia

It's not that this place is dirty, on the contrary. It's not that the menu is terrible, actually…read moreit's pretty good. And, the food isn't awful, actually it's satisfactory for all you can eat style sushi. So, why on earth would this place garner 2 Stars? Easy, as a solo traveler I have found my money is the same color as everyone else's. So when service is denied, or altered, my response is a heartfelt sigh! Here at Fuji, I really should have moved on when I came I and sat down. The staff got in a curfluffle that a solo eater sat in a table for two. On of the staff members directed me upstairs for solo eaters. There is was all alone, eating by myself. Shown a ringer to get staffs attention. Talk about feeling like a pariah. How can a restaurant effect my self esteem......sadly it just did. And, even worse the food is not bad, a little heavy on the rice, but places like this don't want you to eat to much. This won't happen again!!!!

If you're wondering what that means, we showed up just after 8pm, and were told they wouldn't be ready until after they--the employees--were finished eating). CUSTOMER SERVICE: Because my party and I were the first to arrive after opening, we received prompt service. They got us drinks, gave us warm, wet towels to clean up, and soon came over to take our order. However, as more people arrived (and it was quite busy for a Thursday) we were somewhat forgotten. FOOD: The food is delicious! I've eaten at a lot of Japanese restaurants, and enjoyed the food very much. The sashimi (raw fish) was the best of all we tried. The miso soup was hot (temperature), but salty. The rice in the sushi was a little too hard. A lot of the dishes were prepared in the same soy sauce-, garlic-type of sauce, but delicious nonetheless.
