This place is perfect for meeting up with friends (here's looking at you Jose S and Nantisara!) for a bite to eat. Now, to be honest, it was my first full day back in Spain and the rest of my brain was trying desperately to catch up to the clock, and we arrived at the restaurant as they opened for lunch (around 1:00, which is ridiculously early for Spanish lunchtime). The menu is varied and there are lots of little options for personalizing your meal. What arrived at the table was a real treat - appetizers and main courses were delicious, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully presented. I definitely want to go back the next time I am in Valencia.

The gyoza and chicken karaage tasted fine and enough to share for two people. My husband got overly excited and wanted extra meat and noodles in his ramen and our server mentioned us if we ordered the larger portion of the ramen, it came with extra everything. (For an extra 2€, thats a great deal!). Our miso ramen tasted good, the egg was boiled just right and the pork was tender. I felt like the broth was missing something but after adding chili pepper, it helped. Turns out the larger order of ramen for my husband was more than he could handle. The portion for the larger ramen bowl looked to be good enough for 2 people to share. Service and food were good and we would probably come back if we are in the area.

I had my Japanese friend with me who explained to me that this is a very popular dish in Japan and that quality of the broth is very important and that it takes lots of time to make, so mostly it is a dish you get in a bar specialised in ramen. The decor of the restaurant and the menu card are pretty basic but that is what fits this concept. Enough delicious dishes to choose from. We had some edamame and amazing gyoza to share with a Valencian white wine. The ramen was delicious way better than any noodles I have ever had. The portion was really big and I could not finish but o my.... I truly tried!! Service is quick and you can have a look in the kitchen where the Japanese owner is making his art! My friend told me in that in Japan she would also eat ramen after partying !! Well I can tell you I like this idea much better than a kebab ;) Tip: go early as they do not take reservations. Having just been in Japan a month ago, I was excited to try it. I came here later in the evening cramps around 10 p.m. you'd only had to wait a few minutes to get a table outside. The wait staff for great. They made a few recommendations. Where to start? Well it seems reasonable to start the miso soup which I found to be quite good. This had a fairly authentic taste to it. Moving on, I tried tuna sushi roll as a salmon roll. The fish just did not seem all that great. Certainly edible, but just a average quality. I was a little disappointed. Is there it was a chocolate cake. This was warmed and served with ice cream. This was a very nice dish. A good finishing move.

I chose to eat inside as it was pretty hot inside. Service was very fast as I was the only one there. They are known for their sushi boxes so I decided to browse through the menu looking through many of them. Some had special where you could add on a drink for €1. I noticed most of the boxes were with salmon or tuna and since I am a huge fan of salmon I decided to get the "super salmon box." It came out within a few minutes and although had lots of salmon in each roll the creativity of the rolls was great. I also accompanied my rolls with a Japanese Soda that tastes similar to sprite. Overall would definitely come back and try more things on the menu.
