This place surprised me. I know there are lots of trendy restaurants in this area, but I was super-impressed with the food, the decor, and the willingness of the waiter to endure my jet-lagged Spanish.
This place is perfect for meeting up with friends (here's looking at you Jose S and Nantisara!) for a bite to eat. Now, to be honest, it was my first full day back in Spain and the rest of my brain was trying desperately to catch up to the clock, and we arrived at the restaurant as they opened for lunch (around 1:00, which is ridiculously early for Spanish lunchtime). The menu is varied and there are lots of little options for personalizing your meal.
What arrived at the table was a real treat - appetizers and main courses were delicious, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully presented. I definitely want to go back the next time I am in Valencia. read more
