First time - they had my order, but there was an issue with processing it, so they couldn't give me a receipt. I chalked it up to bad luck. Second time - I recognized the same guy who brought out my pickup order, so I asked him about my order. As he's looking it up, the store apparently opened up another register, and he says: "while you're talking to me, the guy at the register over there is waving you over." I had 2 other items to buy, so I shrugged it off. Although he seemed abrupt, I went to the other register and figured that guy would get me me my pickup order. Well, while talking to the new guy, the first guy brings over my order. I look in the bag - one of the boxes was cut by a box opener and the other box had been opened and the product was coming out of it. I knew where the stock was on the shelves, so I went to get replacements. Surprise - The remaining stock was pristine. Strange that whoever filled my order picked missed that! When I'm finally ringing up other items, and trying to use my coupons, the same rude guys says that they won't work on one of the items - it didn't qualify. I said, "well, let's just try it." Well - he's rude again. He barks out "phone number." As I start to rattle it off, he says, "no, you need to enter it over there," and points to the credit card machine. He barks out the total, and I ask, "did both items get the discount?" Then and only then did he say that they did. I've been to this store's location many times over the years, but now I will avoid it. If I need to shop or do a pickup order, I'll go elsewhere. Pity that some of the salespeople (or he might even be a manager) have such a bad attitude.

They also happened to be the best value once everything was factored in. The project was on time, exactly on budget, and everything was done to our satisfaction, even a few last minute changes (thank you Mike Sr.). Michael Jr. was extremely helpful in design and finding the right components for the style we wanted. Alfano was also the cleanest contractor we have used, and they were very respectful of the rest of our living space during construction. Easy to work with, outstanding results, on time and on budget. We visited the large box stores (Lowes and Home Depot) but were unhappy with both the pricing (even after "discounts") and the level of expertise of the employees assigned to the kitchen department. A friend told us of Kitchen Krafter and my wife and I decided to try them. We were helped by Lisa and Carla, two of the most knowledgeable kitchen cabinet people I have ever met! After innumerable phone calls and questions, we purchased our kitchen cabinets and crown molding from them, at a less expensive price then the box stores (same products!). When the cabinets arrived my wife didn't like the grain on one of the cabinet doors (subjective opinion), so Lisa had it quickly exchanged without any problem. Such personnal service and product expertise could not be matched by any other cabinet supplier that we met with. Go with these gals - they are great!

Could have purchased the same cabinets and countertop at a Big Box store, but might have ended up with a 21 inch sink as requested, and not a 21 inch sink base, which resulted in an 18 inch sink - the difference was never explained. But the big problem was the contractor Lisa highly recommended as a "craftsman" - George Evans. He continuously made misrepresentations about timing (gross delays, even by contractor's standards). A number of important elements needed to be redone (e.g., wrong type/color of paint, counter top design and grout), because he did not follow specific written and verbal instructions, and could not focus on time management, details, and task completion. He persistently gave excuses and blamed others (subcontractors) for delays and errors; after a point, he lost credibility. We ended up accepting his mistakes as design compromises, just to get the job done and get George out of the house. Bottom Line: I CANNOT recommend Kitchen Krafter.

Terrible experience dealing with Valerie. Wasted almost a month waiting for kitchen designs and…read morere-measurements to be done. She was "overwhelmed" by basic customer questions. If a design person cannot answer customer questions and gets overwhelmed then there's a real problem. After 4 weeks of working on a design that was for a pretty simple revamp, Valerie could still not get our floor plans right. The builder wrote to me to say that the measurements were still not correct. Save yourself time and energy and don't go here for your kitchen design. Seems all this person has time to do is go for "trainings" that don't appear to translate into work output. Poor communication about timelines and every inquiry was met with a defensive list of reasons about why she couldn't get to our project in a timely manner. Undoubtably the worst customer experience I've ever had.
