In 2014 the Alfano family created a miracle , my husband now x husband had a 2 bedroom 1200 square foot house that was, well to be kind, a dump, a train wreck. The ex ended up being one as well but back to the point :) me living in NYC could not imagine salvaging this home and making it a home I would be happy in. We met with several contractors , As soon as I met Anthony Alfano, I finally felt OK again, he reassured me that with the work and time, it would be a beautiful home. I was completely involved with each step, visiting the site, they always made time for me to discuss what the next step was and really made me feel comfortable and I trusted them as I would family members. Unfortunately I moved back to NY shortly after they built my beautiful home. We renovated most of our first floor as our kitchen was initially small and the old layout wasn't taking full advantage of the space we had. We had a few other contractors and interior designers come but no one compared to the Alfano's. From the beginning, Michael had a vision and understood exactly what we were looking for. He was able to do everything and more! The renovations made our house a home. The team worked quickly, communicated well and we didn't have issues along the way. I can't believe how they transformed our space in such a short amount of time. This was our first renovation of our kitchen in 20+ years. Our experience with Alfano Renovations was great from start to finish. Met Michael in our home and he offered gentle guidance to develop a working plan. Loved that we could meet with Michael or one of his brothers on the weekend in their showroom and put together all of the components of the kitchen (save the appliances) in one place. Construction was surprisingly fast and on schedule. They actually finished before Christmas which we had not planned on. Michael communicated well and let us know what was going to happen and when it would happen. We now have a beautiful kitchen we love to use and entertain in. We used Alfano Renovations for a full kitchen / family room / new powder room and new laundry room renovation. We were so pleased with the outcome! The entire process was without complications and professionally done. Superstorm sandy barely delayed the work being done and the project was competely in a timely manner. Our complete full bathroom renovation went so much smoother than we ever expected (especially during a busy holiday season). The moment I walked into the showroom to receive some information, they were so nice and understanding that we needed help asap since the only shower in our house completely broke. We spoke to a few contractors to install a new bathroom shower. We stumbled across their showroom in Garwood. They were so professional. Came when they said they would, worked all day, cleaned up at the end of the day. If I had a problem or a question, they called right back if they were busy or got on the phone and resolved it within hours. I would not even look for another contractor if I needed something in the future to be done. Just call Alfano. Everyone was great from Dad, to Anthony to Michael (those are who I dealt with). You can't go wrong. They took a tiny bathroom shower and made it into a beautiful tiled shower. We are so happy with them. read more
