The biggest thing I've noticed recently is the change in the team's attitude. Before, whenever I asked for a small favor or wanted them to pay attention to something, I sometimes felt like I was being a pain. Lately though, it's been the complete opposite. The staff are much friendlier, easy to communicate with, and most of them speak great English. They actually listen to what you're asking for and make the effort to get it done. The wash might take a few extra minutes now, but I'd much rather have that if it means they're taking their time and paying attention to the details. As someone who's been coming here for years, I finally feel like my voice is heard and that they genuinely appreciate their monthly members. That kind of customer service is hard to find these days. If you live anywhere in the San Gabriel Valley, I'd definitely recommend checking this place out. I've seen the improvement firsthand, and I hope they keep it up. Keep up the great work, guys!

I've been coming here for about 20 years because they "used" to do a fabulous job on their car…read morewashes. Now mind you, I live 2 blocks from the Alhambra Car Wash on Atlantic & Main, but I always drove out of my way to come here. I bought a booklet for the "Gold" car washes for approximately $300.00, three months before the transfer of ownership. Now if I knew what I know today, I definitely would have not bought them. I wish the cashier who sold me the booklet would have told me about the pending sale and transfer of ownership. I'm giving this review on my most recent visit. On a Wednesday, I arrived seeing that there weren't many cars on the lot awaiting to be detailed at 11:45 a.m. and departed at 1:30 p.m., only to pull my car back onto the lot near the gas pumps to "detail" my car myself. Why? Because when my car came out of the wash dripping with water and soap residue, my car sat in the blaring 102 degree Sun for 40 mins., I finally walked up to the cashier and informed him that no one was tending to my car, he immediately got on the walkie-talkie and 15 minutes later, Jenny started to "detail" my car for 20 mins. Now I'm not faulting her, but the amount of hard water spots that were on my car was out of control. Jenny and I walked around my car, and she dealt with the hard water spots I pointed out with a cheap product that was like diluted Windex to the best of her abilities, until she was summoned by her supervisor to get working on another car. I didn't want her to get in trouble, so I told her to just go because she wasn't having any luck in getting the hard water spots off my car. As I was wiping the water spots off my car by their gas pumps, with my bottle of Chemical Guy's Speed Wipe Quick Detailer Spray (which I always keep in my car, because I like a clean looking car), the lady who used to work the cashier desk walked up to me and asked what was going on. I showed her all the hard water spots on my car, and she was really ashamed of the finished job. I told her, after paying for a car wash, which is $50.00, plus giving a $15.00 tip, I basically paid $65.00 for a crappy carwash. She told me, I know you're a long time customer and have a reputation with the detailers for always giving a good tip, and apologized for the crappy job on my car, which was unacceptable, even to her standards. She said she was going to talk to the new owner's about the many complaints she's been getting lately from customers. Lastly, as I mentioned, I'm giving this review based on my last time there, but honestly, the last 2 car washes were pretty bad, and I had to wipe my car down both times. I just didn't want to give a bad review, but this last time had me truly disappointed and I need the new owners to know what's going on at their establishment, and hopefully work on improving their business. Note to new owners: I know the dynamics regarding the change of the quality of your car washes has A LOT has to do with the ICE raids, and them taking some of your best auto detailers. But if you want to charge Nordstrom prices, get quality detailers and let go your employees who are doing a disservice to your car wash business. I've got 3 "gold" tickets left. Hopefully, my next visit will warrant a new and approved review from me. Thank you.

A staff member named Lupe and, especially, the supervisor/manager behaved aggressively toward me. What happened was terrifying and completely unacceptable. !!! My elbow accidentally touched my car horn. An employee named Lupe immediately began yelling at me, demanding to know why I was honking, and used profanity toward me. I then proceeded toward the car wash, but Lupe blocked my path with a traffic cone. A supervisor came over and, instead of de-escalating the situation, told me that "Lupe does not yell at someone without a reason." At that point, I rolled up my car window. The supervisor then struck/banged on my closed car window with his fist. I was then told to leave the car wash immediately. I understand that drive-through car washes aren't typically the best option, but this was by far the worst experience I've had. You know there's a problem when the attendant tells you, "You can come through again if it's not clean enough." My car wasn't anywhere near filthy to begin with just the usual road dust and some sprinkler water spots from the night before that I wanted to get off. I went with the premium wash, not once, but twice, and somehow still ended up having to wash the car by hand afterward. The spots, dust, and grime were all still there. Honestly, it looked like someone simply sprayed the car with a hose and called it a day. Don't waste your money paying extra for the premium wash. I have a hard time believing the lower tiers would produce any different results. The only difference seems to be how much money you're throwing away. I would highly recommend avoiding this car wash. The results were extremely disappointing, and the entire experience was very unsatisfactory.

Something I especially appreciated was how Albert kept encouraging me to look over everything and point out anything I felt needed more attention. He told me he'd actually prefer that I be nitpicky so he could take care of it right then and there. I loved that because it showed me he genuinely cared about making sure I was happy with the results instead of just rushing to finish the job.
