They leverage, tools and technology to deliver high quality and timely service. They take pictures and videos of everything and include those in a report that is easy to read and understand and are always available for a phone call. For those intimidated by mechanics, this place is for you, they won't make you feel rushed and there are no stupid questions. More importantly, they are honest, and I have experienced this first hand with a warranty issue with previously replaced (by them) shocks. When I mentioned that the shocks were just replaced on my last visit after they had reported to me that they were leaking, they immediately took ownership and covered it under warranty, no questions asked. Their prices are a bit higher than other mechanics in the area, but if you value quality over cheap price tag, you will not have an issue with it. Over all, The Mechanic OC has been a great experience and I take all 3 of my vehicles there for maintenance/repair. I highly recommend them!

It's always a surprise to see how world conditions have affected the cost of service and in this case automobile service. Part have gone up along with labor rates. To get an oil change at one of the drive through oil changes places always surprises me...isn't the format less expensive? apparently not but this service turned out to be a little less than those places which was a pleasant surprise. The dashboard had to come off for the work, so I understand some things had to be moved. However, when I picked my car up they hadn't bothered putting the passenger floor mat back down. Instead it was on top of the seat. They also didn't bother plugging my phone charger back in. I found it tossed in the back seat. The next day I noticed grease stains all over the interior ceiling. The shop let me bring it back in and cleaned them, but now there are just parts of the fabric with a different texture (and still slightly discolored...) from being scrubbed. When I'm spending $2,000 at a shop, I expect my property to be cared for and not returned to me in a worse condition. I will take my business elsewhere in the future.

From the beginning, Tim was honest and let me know it didn't sound promising, and that I should prepare for the possibility of paying out of pocket. As a mom and a nursing student, being without a car is extremely difficult -- I rely on my vehicle for school drop‑off, classes, clinicals, and work. Tim understood that and provided a loaner car, which helped me stay on track. He patiently walked me through both the best‑case and worst‑case scenarios and kept me updated the entire time. In the end, my warranty didn't cover the repair due to "pre‑existing conditions," so I had to pay for the service. Even so, Tim made the experience as smooth as possible and got me safely back on the road. Thank you, Tim.
