In town for the International Powerlifting League Drug Tested North American Championships. Stopped by here just to grab some dandillion root and protein powder. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We talked about my meet. They even gave me a tee shirt to wear to the meet under my singlet. Brought home 5 new state records, 2 silver medals for my age/weight class and (best of all) 2 PRs (one for squat and one for deadlifts). I come in fairly often, and I am always curious about products and meal plans and life in general. The employees here are very, very knowledgable and I highly recommend this store. They don't push products (at least not in my experiences) and spend a lot of time with me every time I come in, even if I don't spend a lot of money. The guy running this place was so informative when I came in to get my new product. I also got a percent off for hearing the adverstisement on the point. He asked me many questions to make sure that the product I chose was right for me over a few different ones. He also gave me literature and told me what I need to be doing as far as exercise and eating. I let him know that we are moving to Hawaii soon and he even offered to ship it to me since I won't have a superstore there. 5 star place for sure! read more

I give it a one star because it won't let me give them NO stars...... This place is a joke. No prices on the products ..... You have to ask...... They claim they are cheaper than the internet which is total bs as I order stuff all day long over the internet way cheaper. I stoped by tonite cause I seen a line of people outside with some tents set up. Although I stoped by the ice cream shop first for my once a month ice cream and walked Down to see what was going on. I see all the store employees in their black shirts standing around....... I ask what is going on if it's a tent sale or what..... Well nobody acknowledge me and I finally figured it was some pro body builders signing autographs or something........ But I felt the whole staff was just rude for ignoring me..... Guess cause I had ice cream they figured I didn't fit in or something bit I am a regular workout guy..... Whole place is a joke!!! read more

I started going there for Magnesium and Vitamin B-2 for migraines and always feel welcome at the Supplement superstore in Shiloh - they always take the time to explain everything to me and I truly feel appreciated. I had my first and last time in this store recently. I went in simply to replenish a supplement I use. My plan was to get In and out, I knew what I needed. I didn't plan on the arrogant, rude clerk who apparently had the misguided notion that customers needed to explain to him what the product does, how they use it, etc. before they could buy it... and other products he wanted to sell me. I found myself getting defensive...I didn't need his validation or help with anything else. I didn't think I owed him details or a personal history. In the course of about an 8 minutes, he managed to insult me, my doctor and my trainer. I was so flustered I left with the wrong version of the product. I returned later in the day to swap it out and he said, in the snidest tone, "Back already?", and then started to challenge me about the version I had come back for. REALLY? read more

Great experience as a first time customer. I came in to buy some recovery supplements recommended by my trainer and the store staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and even offered some samples to help me choose a product flavor.
