If you haven't had a Donair before, think of a Gyro with frosting on it instead of tzatziki sauce. Not to my liking in terms of a Gyro and definitely not on a pizza! The pizza was lacking sauce and flavor. The location was kind of sketchy in a rundown neighborhood, but there were quite a few workers in there cranking out pies, and the door was constantly opening and closing with customers. if you're in Sydney, and you love pizza, it's a gamble to try this place.

We had a small sampling of their menu, which included a combination pizza. And the dough was excellent, not too thick, not too thin, chewy...and yet slightly crispy, the way we like it at least, and the toppings were good. Cheese was good quality also. The only issue was that the toppings were a little bit centrally located on our pizza. The last 3 or so inches towards the crust had cheese and pepperoni but none of the other toppings that came with the pizza... A very minor point for us though. Tried the Panko breaded onion rings and they were crispy and delicious. I would've preferred a bit of seasoning but that's personal taste. They were great. ... even cold a couple hours later when by surprise and to my delight, I came upon one left in the box. The cauliflower bites were also very good, soft and flavourful, not too much breading, which is key, and a nice little dipping sauce to go with it. The Donair was nothing short of immaculate! As one would expect on the East Coast I can't really say enough about the Donair...just get one! Get 3! Share with no one!!! Also got the Donair sub to give it a try and it was very good. I don't know that it had Donair sauce...it didn't seem like it did at least I didn't taste it so maybe that was just me or maybe it comes a little different than a Donair. I would've liked to have had Donair sauce on there ( or more if it was) and a little bit more meat for the sub would be nice, but still tasty delicious! And not skimpy on meat! to be clear. She also has a menu of poutine and other casual dining options, and what looks like a yummy breakfast menu. The pizza was good, with a flavorful crust! You can specify how thick you'd like your crust, and she has a choice of toppings including Donair (which I am not familiar with but I guess is known locally). You can dine in, but we chose to take the pizza back to our B&B. They are only open til 6pm so make your plans early and head for some yummy pizza!

The cheese tasted like real cheese not some fake stuff like some places use. The inside of the restaurant is small but not cramped. There is a lot of traffic because there are a lot of takeout orders being picked up. They also sell pizza by the slice which is a good way to try different pizzas without ordering a whole one.
