What a gem! First experience at this place and what an experience it was!!! Service was fantastic. People were great. We had a small sampling of their menu, which included a combination pizza. And the dough was excellent, not too thick, not too thin, chewy...and yet slightly crispy, the way we like it at least, and the toppings were good. Cheese was good quality also. The only issue was that the toppings were a little bit centrally located on our pizza. The last 3 or so inches towards the crust had cheese and pepperoni but none of the other toppings that came with the pizza... A very minor point for us though. Tried the Panko breaded onion rings and they were crispy and delicious. I would've preferred a bit of seasoning but that's personal taste. They were great. ... even cold a couple hours later when by surprise and to my delight, I came upon one left in the box. The cauliflower bites were also very good, soft and flavourful, not too much breading, which is key, and a nice little dipping sauce to go with it. The Donair was nothing short of immaculate! As one would expect on the East Coast I can't really say enough about the Donair...just get one! Get 3! Share with no one!!! Also got the Donair sub to give it a try and it was very good. I don't know that it had Donair sauce...it didn't seem like it did at least I didn't taste it so maybe that was just me or maybe it comes a little different than a Donair. I would've liked to have had Donair sauce on there ( or more if it was) and a little bit more meat for the sub would be nice, but still tasty delicious! And not skimpy on meat! to be clear. The pickle spears were as good as pickle spears get. Really really well done! Delicious, great size and crispy. And the prices for everything... you'd swear it was 25 years ago! at least! The pricing is amazing and if that place can keep the pricing around that, I guarantee you whatever they might be losing in extra profit compared to other places and what they charge for similar items..surely they're making up in volume! And that's the thing very few businesses These days seem to understand. Keep the prices low to keep the customers happy and they will come back and you will make as much, if not more profit than you would keeping the prices up high. The prices are fantastic you will not beat them. If you're thinking about stopping in on your way through, because I know if you are a local you are likely intimately familiar with this place (how could you not be?) you really need to stop and eat here!!! you'll never regret it. You will want to go back.... you will want to stay longer just so you can go back! I wish I had an Andrew's pizzeria and my hometown! No word of a lie. Great job folks! Food was fantastic!!! Service was great Pizza was done in like 10 mins granted we were first in line around 4, but everyone was so sweet. They have all kinds of drinks and a bunch of tempering fried items!! All out door seating with covering so make sure you don't have stormy weather before hand. Great spot in the Ingonish area. We were very hungry after our hike at the middle head and the hike right across the national park visitor center. We researched that garlic fingers with donair sauce is Nova Scotia specialty. So we got that and enjoyed it in the nice little gazebo next to the takeout place. Garlic fingers felt like cheese pizza or garlic bread but donair sauce is definitely different. I liked it but husband wasn't a sauce that it was very sweet. Best donair pizza I've had on our trip to the maritimes! The crust was amazing and I loved that the sauce wasn't as overwhelmingly sweet as the other places. Of course my husband who has lived here said that it wasn't sweet enough and didn't have enough sauce, but I thought it was perfect for someone like me who is new to the taste. I told them I'd tried to call for 2 hours and it was 7 and they close at 8. They said they'd taken the phone off the hook and because they had a lot of customers they were "closing" and to go somewhere else. A gem/life saver along Cabot trail in the town of Ingonish. A pizza place that's open til 7:15pm. Nothing glitzy fancy here, just delicious pizza. Lovely owners that are friendly and will accommodate your hunger needs when there is nothing else open within a few miles left or right of the store. You've gotta check them out. read more

This place is Ok, not great but not bad. Much of the fried food is frozen Cisco fare, but hey could be worse and I'm guessing people come here more for the pizza and subs. The pizza is whipped together on a converter belt pizza oven, but it's decent. Could use a tad more cheese on the Za but the dough tasted OK and both the deluxe and pepperoni had ample toppings. Is it great or awesome? No way. But it works in a pinch and I'm thinking it may be the only game in town for variety of pizza. The crust was a little undercooked on the bottom but that occurs with the conveyor ovens so not unexpected. But if you're hungry and want a quick pizza fix, Andrews will suffice. read more

Walked into Andrews after a long day in the car. Discovered they were closing in 5 minutes. They happily stayed open and prepared a pizza and donair for us.
