The RV lots are spacious and there are plenty of activities during the snowbird season. Two pools, pickleball courts, shuffleboard, horseshoes, a community center, and a pool hall ensures there are plenty of activities to join. No crime that I am aware of. I love it here and still highly recommend Rosehaven if you are looking for a quiet, decently maintained 55+ community.

This place rocks. Seriously. I've visited a few retirement communities in my day, and this one takes the cake. The entrance is typical and unassuming, but tiddy. What's waiting on the other side of the stucco guard shack (safety: check) is a real treat. The streets and sidewalks are clean, the mobile homes are adorable and proudly display placques in each owner's taste (wether it be Steelers colors and a wood carving) listing their name and where they are from, nice touch. The tiny lawns are all well manicured, there's a nice Pleasantville feeling to it all. It's all very lovely, but the club house is what it's all about. There's a nice fitness center, a billards room, a pool and a huge spa, with a poolside bar. What?! That's right, a poolside bar! The bartender was clad in a colorful Hawaiian shirt, very Margaritaville, no wonder the golf carts were lined up and the bike racks full! Well, what if your hobbies include more than drinking? That's your choice I suppose, so while I'm chillin' with the 'it's five o'clock somewhere' crowd you can mosey on over to guest services where they will be happy to provide you with an activities calendar. Better pull out your readers, they had to use smaller font to make room for all the awesome stuff they have planned! Everyday has at least 15 different games set up! Bocce ball! Yup! Pickle ball and tennis? Uh, yeah! Every card game I've ever heard of and several I haven't? You've got it! Not to mention the special events and performances. How about a craft fair? Or maybe check out the comedic stylings of "world famous" Jimmy Keyes! I don't know who Jimmy Keyes is, but he's wearing a crazy coat in the promotional banner, so you know it'll be a good time. The second I find a single retiree with a sweet rig I'm ditching my husband for the life I was meant for: retirement. My place, a spacious 1 bed 1 bath is for sale on Facebook Marketplace currently. I will be trying to list it elsewhere. I just don't have the money. This is a great park with heated pool and hot tub & many other amenities. So, i am aware of bad reviews, but honestly, I've paid my rent and never had one issue in 6 years.Also, they got rid of the last manager guy, who was trouble, and the new manager(a year or so) is a pretty decent guy,Charlie. 12/26/25 Apache Junction Az…read more Fellow Church member who hails from Iowa, Bill celebrated his 90th birthday today. The party was held in his community's clubhouse and was attended by his wife Jan, two daughters and son-in-law and beloved friends from his community and our Church. Bill is an amazing person. He runs the commercial Kitchen at Broadway. Wednesday's he prepares lunch for 120+ member who attended a midweek Bible study over Bill's lunch. He also serves this roll for weddings and other special occasions. This is a well orchestrated activity for him and his team of volunteers. And yes. Our lunch today was prepared by selfless Bill who else? The birthday surprises was his daughter's flying in to be a part of this generous man's milestone. For those in his community I want everyone to know from one of the Directors you have a special Person in your community. Happy Birthday Bill! And to the community members I met today, I love the tight-nit and warm feeling you all showed us today!

When we purchased our mobile home in this…read morepark, we were satisfied with the management, the neighbors, the house after we worked on it, and the value that we pay for rent. Since then, the management has turned over, and not in a good way. The people that came in as management made a big show with door, prizes, and gifts and comments of "look what we're going to do for you,"but since then, the business office has been closed, ( with the excuse that they can't get help). The Internet service has been spotty since the very beginning, and now the residents are told that there will be no Internet service provided, the office is closed again because they say they have no Internet service there either. Why can't the parent company of Sun resorts pony up a little bit and get an Internet service that actually works in the area? Activities that are scheduled between Sun Valley and the adjacent mobile home Park of Lost. Dutchman are held at that park and not at all at ours. It's hard to get a response when you send a request. There is a weekly meeting held by the homeowners Association members and residents, but the management don't show up for the meetings because they had negative comments made to them, and they don't like to hear the criticism when they have come. Monthly rent for the property is not expensive, and overall the park is tidy, but the expectations to keep it tidy are more for the site holders, then for their oversight. The gentleman who is responsible for the maintenance of the park does his best, and is very nice and does well with the facilities that he has. There have been multiple water leaks which are shut down water in this park for a day at a time, mostly because the infrastructure is old and decrepit. The new management installed a gas fire pit in the property, but they keep the key to operate the fire pit locked up, and you have to call someone in an office to get someone else to come over to unlock the box to give you the key to use the fire pit, so good luck, trying to use it when you might feel like entertaining a guest. Seems like the rules get longer with less support.

Having Jaime Gibson as our manager and staunch supporter is the icing on the cake. She listens to all of our comments and finds the best solution to satisfy both corporate owners and the people in this community. Very professional in all she does. The park itself is getting upgraded on a continuous basis.. New homes are coming in to replace where much older homes have been taken away for our safetty. Our clubhouse is now home to the office making it easy to connect. Mailroom & laundry room are being repaired after a water leak! I (we) couldn't be happier with Jaime's commitment to us and our community. She has made the transition from a 55+ park to an All age park, easy to understand. Happy to be a resident here in Desert Valley Oasis.
