I think I've been here enough times to give this place a review…read more I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new gym. I know there's a lifetime nearby too but it's so ridiculously overpriced and I don't use all the amenities to validate going there (having been a previous member). I love that wild horse is just a 6 minute drive from the house. It's usually the hardest part of going to workout - getting there, but it's so easy and there's always a parking spot open close to the door (since weather is in single digits!!) I'd say I go during odd hours since I have a hybrid work schedule. 11:30-2pm have 12+ people but it's never too crowded that I have to wait for a machine to be free (excluding today where everyone collectively decided to workout arms like me!) and 4-6p is when it gets a little busier, I bet due to people getting off work and wanting to get their workout in. Machines are clean as well as locker rooms. Towels are always available once you walk down to the floor or hit up the locker room to put your stuff away. There are cubbies where you can quickly stash your belongings as well. There are also jacket hooks in the locker room for colder seasons. The staff are all nice and friendly! The members are too! There's a wide array of machines for every muscle or variations of ones you've probably seen at other gyms. A ton of life fitness machines, free weights, cables, treadmills, ellipticals, stair masters, you name it, they've got it! Couples membership is around $130/month plus $100~ sign up fee Worth it to stay or get in the best shape of your life!

And them annual fees are wack. They give no communication when it comes to financing but they're always pushing the darn Black Card membership. Anyway yeah planet dont ever got a good rep people will say go to Lifetime and Club but I dont hate it. Non-members will hate because of the beginners vibe and the people that go to planet are weird but the workers are more laidback then people think. I will say dont get the black card lol the whole reason people go to planet is cuz its cheap. But yeah I love it here.

I also tried my first compression boots and I loved them. The chairs lean back far and it's super comfy.

When I tell you that Blue Ocean has changed my life, I really mean it…read more My two closest friends started working out here a couple of years ago, and after finally giving in to peer pressure, I decided to give it a shot last January. I'm coming up on my one year mark and I can honestly say it has been one of the best things I've ever done for myself! I never felt great about any gyms I've belonged to in the past. I'm not a huge group class person, and personal training has always been $$$$$. Enter: semi-personal training! Basically, each of the trainers here has a few clients at one time, but it still feels, well... personal. You get your own workout, there are just others around you doing theirs, and it actually adds a fun element of community at the same time. Instead of working out so hard that you can barely walk the next morning, the approach here is more reasonable and based on intentional repetition vs. killing yourself. I typically do three circuits made up of 3-4 exercises, 3-4 times each. My muscle growth has been slow but extremely consistent, and I'm finally seeing the exact results I've always wanted. Working out three times per week at Blue Ocean has kept me feeling so strong and healthy. As a bonus, when I have to travel for work, I can pause my membership--and they even give me workouts to do on the road. The trainers are fantastic people, and the clientele is great, too. I look forward to belonging to Blue Ocean for a long time!

I'm not a natural athlete, so getting fit and gaining muscle mass has always been a personal struggle. Previous efforts to navigate sweaty big-box gyms, one-size-fits-all classes and haphazard home routines have not worked, keeping me stuck at square one and feeling extremely discouraged. Fitness Together is different - in a class by itself. After just nine weeks of training, I am enjoying improvements in strength, coordination and confidence. I leave every workout having accomplished something significant. As for the team of professional trainers at Fitness Together, I have nothing but respect for them. They tailor workouts to my goals with consistency and safety second to none. They make workouts interesting, challenging and effective by offering an endless variety of exercises at each visit. No two workouts are alike. Fitness Together trainers are passionate about what they do, and always encouraging. The best thing about this location is their morning cycling classes with Lynn, who is a WONDERFUL cycling instructor. Let's face it, some cycling instructors suck. Lynn creates well-planned cycling classes and sets them to good, upbeat music that almost makes you forget what a crazy workout you're getting. Plus, the classes are free with membership so you can go all you want.
