This is the second time I've had an issue with this company. I brought it to the attention of my property management team and followed the exact steps I was given regarding my loaner vehicle, yet it was still towed, which was extremely frustrating. That said, I do appreciate Kevin, one of the owners, for reaching out personally, taking accountability, apologizing, and ultimately making things right. While the situation was stressful, his response and effort to resolve it did make a difference. read more

Three-hour wait, constant false ETAs, and a rude driver (dispatched through Geico) I would not use Superior Towing. We were dispatched through Geico roadside assistance on a Thursday night in the Chicago suburbs. It was raining, but not storming. The tow took 3 hours to arrive, and the updates we got were unreliable: 30 minutes, then an hour and a half, then 45 minutes, and an hour, then 15 minutes, and finally a call saying he'd be there in 10 minutes. It was a full three hours of being told the wrong thing. I completely understand that wait times are NOT the drivers fault. That is dispatch, time, who is available and when. 3 hours was not the towers fault at all plus traffic is always a factor! When the driver finally showed up, my husband handed over the keys so the car could be put in neutral. I didn't know that the keys were passed over for contex. As he started chaining the car, it looked rough and jerky, so I rolled down my window and politely asked, "Would you like us to put it in neutral for you?" He cut me off mid-sentence and snapped, "Ma'am, I've been doing this for 10 years," and said something about being "snappy" and doing his job. His hands were up in the air and his body language read as very frustrated and pissed off. After waiting three hours in the rain, being talked down to for offering help was insulting. He then pulled out the keys I didn't know he had and put the car in neutral himself, which made the whole exchange feel even more pointless and left me feeling terrible. In the end, the car got towed to where we requested. Long wait, no reliable communication, and an unprofessional attitude when we tried to be helpful. This left our night feeling off and hard to shake. Go with another service. 1 star 0 if possible read more

The worst company. cancelled twice to tow farm an accident and had me waiting for 5 hours - only to cancel. they should be ashamed but they are not. they do not care about customers who are in difficult situations. They make promises and do not keep them. read more

On Thursday, I called and scheduled an advance pickup for Friday. Two hours after the scheduled time, I called, and the rep told me a driver would arrive within an hour. I called again later, only to be told they wouldn't be able to pick up my car until the following Monday. I get that people can be stranded on the road, but we had a prearranged time. At the very least, honor your commitment and show up the same day. In the end, I chose a different towing company because they couldn't keep their promises. read more

Needed a Tow Truck on Thanksgiving morning. Superior Towing came through. Thanks again Jim J for being very professional and on time.

I had my Tesla towed by Superior towing. They did a great job with my ailing vehicle whose suspension had collapsed. It was not cheap, but having someone that knew how to tow the vehicle was well worth the cost. read more

Needed a tow for my Tesla in a parking garage where I worked and Edgar came to my rescue! The parking garage is not the easiest since it's super narrow and the exit is a spiral roadway so it's not always easy to navigate around at times. But Edgar was super professional and very good at his job that he made it look so easy! Communication was excellent as they were always in contact with me every step of the way. Hope they give Edgar some sort of appreciation because he was fantastic to work with and was exceptional at his job. Thanks again, Edgar! read more

If your insurance uses this company for roadside assistance then you better pray that they will come on time or show up at all. I don't know why they accepted the job proposal that is 100 miles away and never showed up. What good is that in screwing up people who are already under duress. read more

Greetings, I was in a dilemma today and needed my vehicle towed in the garage, per the HOA at Sage Brook Community. Ostensibly, I obscured the noisy neighbor's view. Ridiculous. The vehicle was covered with a Tarp, I was waiting to have it repaired. Oh Well. Life goes on, Be Kind to one another, God Loves all of us! Aaron from Superior was kind enough to direct me to a Towing service closest to Mccordsville. Aaron said it was cheaper and made sense to go with another company. Superior, I will definitely keep you in my address book. Blessings, read more

Careful using. My daughter who has mental challenges was pulled over by Frankfort police on her dirtbike. Granted she shouldn't have been riding on the street with her friend on our electric bike, the Frankfort police caught her and ticketed her. They had Superior tow the bikes 1 mile or so to impound. Frankfort police messed up paperwork and I couldn't get bikes released for 3 days. Superior would not give a single father a break and used the excuse to say storage was waved cause police weren't at the station to release for 3 days. Anyways $30 per bike for fuel surcharge to go a mile on same flatbed , and $30 per bike for dollys which aren't needed for bikes so $60 per bike charges that are unnecessary. When does the towing overcharges stop. I even worked in auto collision shops using their services and it wasn't this bad. read more

My insurance company chose them and I am glad I wrote down the contact info! The gentleman was patient and went ABOVE & BEYOND! I am truly grateful. Amy in dispatch is 5 stars by herself! lol Amazing customer service, extremely pleasant, supportive of the clients needs, exceeded my expectations, greeted me with a smile (on the phone mind you) and made sure I had a driver within the hour. After the day spent at an unexpected funeral, we were very unhappy to be stranded on the hottest night of the summer with a dead battery. The young man from Superior towing was very kind, professional, and extremely patient with us. He was an excellent driver and took great care of our (difficult) Tesla. Although it will go down as one of our least favorite days, he made it end on a positive note. Thank you! read more

Disrespectful receptionist, i arrived around 3:30 tried to go about the normal process but it wouldn't process i tried an additional two cards but same issue. As i ask questions to find a solution and all she does is insist over and over that i didn't have the money. Apple pay and card weren't working so I asked could she call the third party your company uses for card payments to see if there's a way it can be rebooted, she ignored my question and insisted again I didn't have the money. Trying to be respectful I tried to talk to the other employee but was ignored. There is more details to it but I would like to just speak to a manager and or owner about the situation. After almost an hour and 30 minutes i asked was cash accepted and she said it is which confused me why she didn't say that when my card initially "declined". Then to put a cherry on top of it she had an attitude and passive aggressive tone the entire time. People have bad days and i get that but she chose this profession and needs serious training in customer service, she never even gave a name. read more

One of your drivers servicing at the streets of w palatine and N Overhill Ave on July 10th at around 530 pm was blocking the road... when asked to park to the side, since there was ample parking space and he had time to pull over to the side of the street, it was not an emergency! He refused to do so and asked us to back out instead... and proceeded to ask questions from the client... saying "im working here!!!" Please train your drivers to be courteous of other's time and not act like they are above others on the road just because they are tow trucks! read more

My car stopped and the tow driver told me that a tow just to the nearest lot would cost me $250.00 and that was only 2 blocks away!!

I recently had my car stolen on the Southside of Chicago and the tow truck driver(Edgar) that was dispatched from Superior Towing was extremely professional, knowledgeable. Edgar helped me move my car that was left in a horrible position to the repair shop and ultimately back on the road. I really appreciate the kindness and professionalism that was displayed and I would for sure go with Superior Towing for all my towing needs and you should too. read more

Damaged car needs to be towed and was told 60 to 90 min waiting time. So we called work to delay work. After 90 min , no show. We have to call them and told need another 60 min. You know the drill. The only positive is the person doing towing is great - superior. read more

Needed a tow to my mechanic... called Geico, who in turn called Superior Towing. Could not have been happier with their service/company. My operator, Ralph, was prompt, polite and represented Superior Towing well. He called me to let me know he was nearby and he was at the location shortly thereafter. After he hooked up the vehicle, we drove to the mechanics garage and kept cordial conversation, sharing stories on places traveled. All in all a most pleasant experience with Ralph/Superior Towing and would use them again if I had the choice... stay awesome, Ralph! read more

Abysmal customer service. Geico sent my car to tow my car to the nearest dealership. I called Geico at 10 AM. ETA was at 1 PM. They pushed it back to 3:30 PM. I called them to see what had happened. Very poor/rude customer service representative. He pushed it back to 7:30 PM. By that time, the service center was closed. These people are not at all reliable! Geico shouldn't use them. We all have lives and are busy working people who don't have time for this type of unreliable "service." read more

Geico had scheduled a tow from them in which they told me it would take 4 hours for them to get to my vehicle. I waited and then they "completed" my tow saying they couldn't find my location but whole time they never came to the address given. So Geico reached out to call them again and they lied and said I was rude in text messages tho I only sent the address because they said they didn't know where my vacuole was. They denied the tow so I'm still stranded. The worst company by far to have to deal with especially when something is wrong with your car and it's after hours. I would not recommend. Deserves zero stars. Honestly. read more

I had a an amazing experience. Would highly recommend. Mel is a total pro! Many thanks!

i would give -ve 5 stars, if i could I waited FOUR HOURS for them to send a tow truck. called the towing company and TOM (i think) was super rude and an ___hole, probably the worst customer service person i have dealt with, every time called they would say another 20 mins and it took them almost 4 hours to get the tow truck to pick me up, and the tech said he was given wrong address, (total BS). my car was stuck in middle of street, explained to them that the cops want it removed asap and TOM said he does not care and told me to ask cop to do whatever he has to. They also never updated their ETA until the previous ETA passes. Imagine thinking your tow is coming at 8 pm and they come at midnight . On their site they say they have "multiple flatbed trucks around the Chicago lane area"... IMPOSSIBLE because it so, this would not be a thing. called GIECO and they were no help as well.. total Shit show i do not recommend using their service at all. read more

If I could give no stars, I would. I waited FOUR HOURS for them to send a tow truck. Called Geico after no getting much of an explanation from the dispatch and come to find out the were delayed because they had the wrong type of tow truck assigned. They also never updated their ETA until the previous ETA passes. Imagine thinking your tow is coming at 3:03 pm and then boom at 3:04 you get a text saying the new estimated time is 4:30. On their site they say they have "multiple flatbed trucks around the Chicago lane area"... IMPOSSIBLE because it so, this would not be a thing. read more

My son lost his keys over prom weekend. We only had (1) he just got the car. Unfortunately the key contains a chip, so the only way to get a key is have the car towed to dealer. I calked a few local tow companies in/around the NorthShore but the prices quoted were extraordinary to tow a car 4.7 miles (highland park to Northbrook). Not only did Superior beat the tow price they were able to dispatch immediately. The tow driver (Jim/john I am so bad with names) was awesome! Nice, courteous, and was very experienced. I would highly recommend Superior god towing & roadside assistance! read more

My experience with Superior towing in New Lenox was not a good one I was forced to use their service by the police was not allowed to call my own tow truck service, after calling to pick up my car I was told that I would need permission from my insurance company to pick up my truck that belongs to me and basically they have a whole lot of hidden fees that they run up on the customers on purpose that are so high that only the insurance company could pay such a fee to release your car this is predatory and disgraceful I will never ever use this service again they are trash and pray on people's need. read more

Unacceptable! Geico called in towing service for our vehicle, was told it would be 1 hour (which I think is too long since the car was stalled in Mokena & they are in New Lenox). After a 2 hour wait YES 2 hours the tow truck finally arrived. The driver was very unprofessional, the truck smelled like pure cigarettes and he seemed to be upset that my husband had to get in his truck. Then to add to this disaster he runs a Stop Sign, talk about dangerous and very neglectful. Would not recommend, nor will we be calling them if needed in the future. read more

Wish I could give ZERO stars!!!!!!!!Horrible. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. They are liars and they will have strangers picking you up. I waited 3 hours for a guy to tell me you have to sit in the middle because I am training this other guy. They are horrible, can't believe GEICO is contracted with them. The guy must have been an independent contractor. It was scary riding in the middle with two guys 30 miles to my house. The truck didn't even say Superior towing, Never again read more

One of their drivers did something extremely dangerous today on i-88 and almost killed my family. The driver made a fast U-turn across multiple lanes of traffic on a highway with little warning. My family's car as well as several others had to slam on the brakes and came to a screeching halt. I can't emphasize enough how incredibly dangerous and sudden this move was. The driver was not remorseful. My mother, a 60-year old heart transplant patient and passenger in the car, was so shaken up she couldn't catch her breath for several minutes. Hours later, my family is still extremely shaken up and disturbed by this near-death experience. The police were called but it appears nothing has been done with the company. Should I ever need towing service I will NOT be calling them. read more
