On Thursday, I called and scheduled an advance pickup for Friday. Two hours after the scheduled time, I called, and the rep told me a driver would arrive within an hour. I called again later, only to be told they wouldn't be able to pick up my car until the following Monday. I get that people can be stranded on the road, but we had a prearranged time. Needed a tow for my Tesla in a parking garage where I worked and Edgar came to my rescue! The parking garage is not the easiest since it's super narrow and the exit is a spiral roadway so it's not always easy to navigate around at times. Careful using. My daughter who has mental challenges was pulled over by Frankfort police on her dirtbike. Granted she shouldn't have been riding on the street with her friend on our electric bike,the Frankfort police caught her and ticketed her. They had Superior tow the bikes 1 mile or so to impound. Frankfort police messed up paperwork and I couldn't get bikes released for 3 days. Superior would not give a single father a break and used the excuse to say storage was waved cause police weren't at the station to release for 3 days. Anyways $30 per bike for fuel surcharge to go a mile on same flatbed , and $30 per bike for dollys which aren't needed for bikes so $60 per bike charges that are unnecessary. When does the towing overcharges stop. I even worked in auto collision shops using their services and it wasn't this bad. read more

Disrespectful receptionist, i arrived around 3:30 tried to go about the normal process but it wouldn't process i tried an additional two cards but same issue. As i ask questions to find a solution and all she does is insist over and over that i didn't have the money. Apple pay and card weren't working so I asked could she call the third party your company uses for card payments to see if there's a way it can be rebooted, she ignored my question and insisted again I didn't have the money. Trying to be respectful I tried to talk to the other employee but was ignored. There is more details to it but I would like to just speak to a manager and or owner about the situation. After almost an hour and 30 minutes i asked was cash accepted and she said it is which confused me why she didn't say that when my card initially "declined". Then to put a cherry on top of it she had an attitude and passive aggressive tone the entire time. One of your drivers servicing at the streets of w palatine and N Overhill Ave on July 10th at around 530 pm was blocking the road... when asked to park to the side, since there was ample parking space and he had time to pull over to the side of the street, it was not an emergency! He refused to do so and asked us to back out instead... and proceeded to ask questions from the client... saying "im working here!!!" Please train your drivers to be courteous of other's time and not act like they are above others on the road just because they are tow trucks! read more

Damaged car needs to be towed and was told 60 to 90 min waiting time. So we called work to delay work. After 90 min , no show. We have to call them and told need another 60 min. You know the drill. Needed a tow to my mechanic... called Geico, who in turn called Superior Towing. Could not have been happier with their service/company. My operator, Ralph, was prompt, polite and represented Superior Towing well. He called me to let me know he was nearby and he was at the location shortly thereafter. After he hooked up the vehicle, we drove to the mechanics garage and kept cordial conversation, sharing stories on places traveled. Abysmal customer service. Geico sent my car to tow my car to the nearest dealership. I called Geico at 10 AM. ETA was at 1 PM. They pushed it back to 3:30 PM. I called them to see what had happened. Very poor/rude customer service representative. He pushed it back to 7:30 PM. By that time, the service center was closed. These people are not at all reliable! Geico shouldn't use them. Geico had scheduled a tow from them in which they told me it would take 4 hours for them to get to my vehicle. I waited and then they "completed" my tow saying they couldn't find my location but whole time they never came to the address given. So Geico reached out to call them again and they lied and said I was rude in text messages tho I only sent the address because they said they didn't know where my vacuole was. i would give -ve 5 stars, if i could I waited FOUR HOURS for them to send a tow truck. called the towing company and TOM (i think) was super rude and an ___hole, probably the worst customer service person i have dealt with, every time called they would say another 20 mins and it took them almost 4 hours to get the tow truck to pick me up, and the tech said he was given wrong address, (total BS). my car was stuck in middle of street, explained to them that the cops want it removed asap and TOM said he does not care and told me to ask cop to do whatever he has to. My son lost his keys over prom weekend. We only had (1) he just got the car. Unfortunately the key contains a chip, so the only way to get a key is have the car towed to dealer. I calked a few local tow companies in/around the NorthShore but the prices quoted were extraordinary to tow a car 4.7 miles (highland park to Northbrook). Not only did Superior beat the tow price they were able to dispatch immediately. The tow driver (Jim/john I am so bad with names) was awesome! Nice, courteous, and was very experienced. My experience with Superior towing in New Lenox was not a good one I was forced to use their service by the police was not allowed to call my own tow truck service, after calling to pick up my car I was told that I would need permission from my insurance company to pick up my truck that belongs to me and basically they have a whole lot of hidden fees that they run up on the customers on purpose that are so high that only the insurance company could pay such a fee to release your car this is predatory and disgraceful I will never ever use this service again they are trash and pray on people's need. read more

Unacceptable! Geico called in towing service for our vehicle, was told it would be 1 hour (which I think is too long since the car was stalled in Mokena & they are in New Lenox). After a 2 hour wait YES 2 hours the tow truck finally arrived. The driver was very unprofessional, the truck smelled like pure cigarettes and he seemed to be upset that my husband had to get in his truck. One of their drivers did something extremely dangerous today on i-88 and almost killed my family. The driver made a fast U-turn across multiple lanes of traffic on a highway with little warning. My family's car as well as several others had to slam on the brakes and came to a screeching halt. I can't emphasize enough how incredibly dangerous and sudden this move was. The driver was not remorseful. My mother, a 60-year old heart transplant patient and passenger in the car, was so shaken up she couldn't catch her breath for several minutes. Hours later, my family is still extremely shaken up and disturbed by this near-death experience. The police were called but it appears nothing has been done with the company.
