I don't know why people complain about this place! I've been there at least 6 times and the staff are always nice to me. They were nice on the phone as well. The grass is freshly harvested. Grows great with minimal ground prep. Their prices ($6.50 per roll) is great. Bags of fertilizer only $5. Honnestly, I suspect those that said the staff are rude - the staff were just responding to how they were being treated by the customer. If the problem really was the staff- they would have treated me badly at least one of the many times I went there. Just treat them as good as you want them to treat you! read more

BUY ELSEWHERE AND AVOID THE HEADACHES!!! I ordered sod on 3/30 to be delivered 4/15. I paid in full on 3/30. The evening before delivery I get a call and was told no delivery because they had no record of payment. I had to send them a copy of my bank statement to prove I paid. Then I'm told that the person who originally took my order was fired for stealing!!!! To make matters worse the sod was left on the street !! The driver didn't have the courtesy to knock on the door. No better place to pick up your sod. Might be hard for some to locate as it is right next to the Chino airport. You walk in. Pay a reasonable price for sod. Then pull your vehicle up and get help loading it up. If you need tools, seed, fertilizer, etc. well you are in luck because the office has that for sale too. The employees were kind, efficient, and wonderful to do business with. 6 weeks later and or backyard has beautiful luscious green grass for our children to run and play on. Once the weather cools down I will be returning to upgrade our front yard with sod too. But since summers have been feeling like a rectum of Satan recently that project may need to wait until fall read more

Disappointed. Spent time setting up an order last night on their website. Website instructed to call to finalize payment. Called this morning and the gentleman said that they no longer deliver to the high desert area anymore, and that they would update their website to reflect that. They did however call back and try to make things right by offering a special delivery since they had erred in not updating their website. I had to decline their offer, but in light of the fact that they were willing to work with me, I have upgraded my star rating. I was unable to take them up on the offer, as I had made other arrangements, but appreciated them trying to help! read more

Free delivery is nice & the grass looks good. That's about where it ends. Horrible customer service. I was told misinformation about the delivery and when i called, the customer service was horrible on the phone. She didn't even apologize for the misinformation I was given. I spent a lot of money on sod with them and I just wish that they had been consistent in their information and made some sort of attempt to rectify the situation. And DO NOT trust whatever delivery time they gave you. It will be wrong. read more

I could have dug up my neighbors grass and planted it in my yard and had a better time dealing with the legal system. Ordered online yesterday (September 20, 2016) for delivery today. Called the company to pay for my order, very disorganized. I offered my order number, not needed. I was told there's only one person in the office who takes orders and she didn't recognize my name...because I ordered online!!! After payment was finalized I was told I'd get a call to confirm delivery time later that day. The call came, I was told 8am-11am. I asked if it was possible for last delivery of the day as I'd be at work and the installers were coming late afternoon. The gentleman seemed agreeable and offered a window from 2-3. PERFECT!!! Today is delivery day, got a call this morning at 7:30am from the deliverer, he was at my house dropping off sod. 8 hours too soon!!!!! His voicemail said, "Hi My name is Mario, I'm dropping off your sod this morning...ummmm.....I guess I'll just leave it in the street then.....ummmmmmm.....unless you're home....ummmm......thank you" Are you kidding me? I called to speak to someone about the misunderstanding, I got to hear everything from "I'm not sure if they told you, but you can't request a delivery time", to "the guy who called to confirm delivery time wasn't "trained" in that area, to "I don't know why that happened, that's strange" to, the kicker, "Can you call your installer?"......WHYYYYYYYYY do I need to call my installer, he doesn't represent your company! Called twice on Monday asked what time closing in Tuesday both times man ands woman said 5pm. Told them we are coming to get 350 sq ft sod what is the price? Great see you tomorrow. Showed up 410pm office closed. Tried to call got closed message. WHAT? Called office in Tustin they had no idea of them closing early. Had landscapers coming in first thing in morning. Now what. Son calls office and speaks to Toni. She says they will deliver in morning. Call next morning Toni not in till 10 and the Chino office is RUDE and says you come get it!!!! WHat??? We buy from them about every other year. Do not rely on them to keep their hours or what they say especially if you need it on time and can't get there till after 3pm. And sad to say this was the last time.if you say your going to be at a place at a time frame of 7-8 am and show up at 10am . that's not good business. Dropped off WAY to earlier, left the pallets of sod in the street. No one was home. No call/notification prior to delivery. They do not take specific instructions from clients. They have great prices on their sod, however they have terrible customer service . I called days before to make sure they had the sod we needed and asked about delivery options. When we got there turns out they were not offering delivery service for a while so we had to find our own way of transportation after it was purchased. We had to make a few trips in order to get all the sod home, I called to check how many more loads we had left and the girl told me couldn't tell me because she was in the office and the guys where outside! I still asked her to check for me she agreed and said she would call me back on that she never did! They really need to work on their customer service it's a must! read more
