I would not use them to do the fertilizing on your yard. My two houses in the villages look terrible and they don't stand behind their service and won't fix it. They just say sorry you signed a year contract and can't get out of it. They just give you the run around if there is a problem. read more

Tito did a great job explaining what he was doing as well as to limit the bugs getting into the house. I requested him to come all the time to my house! read more

I called, two days later Tito came sprayed for spiders and bugs, such a gentleman and extremely through! Very pleased! Also they fertilized and herbicide our lawn! read more

Superior's operator set their fertilizing machine improperly and burned a 4'x150' section of our lawn along the back and side of the house. Our burned strip is a continuation of a burned strip in our neighbor's yard (who also uses Superior). I'm trying to complain, but they don't answer the phone or return calls (4 calls so far). It's funny, this meandering burned strip is the part of my lawn that was damaged. The rest of the lawn is okay, which implies that Superior never actually processed the rest of the lawn. read more

I have been with this company since 2013 and have found them to provide exemplary service. If I need something I call and they ate right on it. Office staff is great and they follow up. I would recommend them for your outdoor and indoor pest and yard needs. read more

Not a good company with many bad reviews; and truck 5741, with the older guy passenger, is about as horrible as an employee you can imagine. They are not someone I would suggest using. We had an experience with this company during the middle of March2025 and do not recommend! I wish they were worth my time of correcting, but they lack intelligence. read more

Ineffective pest control. Lawn is ruined. They refused remediation for the lawn. FIRED!!

Spray for roaches. We have an annual contract with Superior and when we call for a touch up they come out within a couple of days. Each service person they send is friendly and efficient but especially recommend Steven Andrews. Very thorough and educates us on what he is using and where and why and precautions read more

Do NOT hire Superior Pest Control, worst service and they will steal your money. They destroyed my lawn, have bugs, weeds all over so I wanted out after 2.5 months. I had to have 50% of lawn replaced I can't trust them again. They won't refund even part of my money, they stole 10-months of my money. They failed at their business and what they were hired for, I have damages over that, and yet they won't grant you even half your money back. Worst company ever!!! read more

We have the annual contract for pest control. The serviceman was very informative and went beyond.

Just a warning to others - Lawn tech "Jason" messed up big time treating our lawn. He is no longer with Superior. The experienced lawn tech "Todd" was brought in to fix it. Two weeks later, he is not with the company. Most of the time the 1-800 number just rings with no answer or voice mail option. When I finally got through to a human, I asked for a refund of unused months. She refused. I said this could be a good story if I could tell people you refunded my unused months and let me move on to another company. "Vanessa" replied, I guess it will be a bad story. No refunds. I still canceled the service, but learned not to pay in advance for lawn care. read more

We have given them a year and we now have an entire lawn covered with weeds. They came out one day and put a sign up saying that had treated the lawn. We were home and we watched him never get out of his vehicle until he put the sign up. read more

Horrible service. They killed my new sod and didn't replace it. I don't recommend them at all. They will kill your lawn.

Been a costumer for years with several rental properties, all in the same neighborhood. Added one additional one and switched to a new service that has more flexibility, a little bit of a multiple property discount, and comes out without being called 3-4 times a year or more frequently as needed. Sales guy Rich is arrogant and inflexible. Terrible customer service experience, very impersonal and a different tech each time.., I'll stick to the smaller companies from now on and def don't recommend Superior, as they are Inferior read more

Beware if you're considering hiring this company that you are locked into an annual contract. The reason they do so is that then they won't stand behind the inferior service that they provide. I hired Superior to provide pest & weed control for my yard in addition to fertilization. After 6 months under Superior's "management" of my lawn, what remains of my actual grass was completely choked out by weeds that completely took over my yard. Weeds completely took over my lawn under Superior's care. My lawn would have better served to have no care vs. paying this company. I spent a backbreaking week pulling weeds by hand from my yard in order to attempt to allow my remaining grass to come back to life. When contacting Superior with my issues & dissatisfaction, I was referred to the manager, Rich Lagasse, who refuses to offer me a refund of the remaining 6 months of the contract & will not let me out of the contract. He just states repeatedly that there's nothing he can do other than to enforce the contract. I met with Massey & they offer a month to month contract & they stand behind their work & will not force you to remain stuck with them if you are displeased with the service. For anyone out there in The Villages who is looking for care of your lawn, don't hire this company. I wish I had done more research because I made a huge mistake & am throwing my money down the toilet while my lawn continues to degrade further & further each month Superior is "caring" for it. Run away from them as fast as you can & hire a company that knows what they are doing that will stand behind the work not a contract so that your lawn will not be destroyed. I can't believe I paid them for this. read more

Superior Services lives by their name! Their pest control services are SUPERIOR! They go above and beyond for their customers!

My yard is far from SUPERIOR! The lawn techs do not work. Our tech, spends more time filling out the note he leaves at my door, putting the yard sign in than he does actually walking around my ENTIRE lawn to apply treatments. This company will not give a refund, even pro-rated for remaining months of my contract! Horrible! Do Not Use this Company!!!! Yard now needs to be replaced! read more

If I could give them a negative 0 I would. Whatever they use on lawns does not control weeds ! Our yard has remained full of them. We over-seeded in the spring and had a beautiful lawn. As time went on our lawn became more infested with weeds and Alexander grass. So after the continued use of superior services was getting worse instead of better we opted to change services and cancel them. So we called to cancel and get a refund on our unused portion of what we paid, we found out that because we paid for the year in advance that we do not get a refund !! So buyers beware and do not pay in advance if you choose to try using this company ! Only pay as you go, so you can make sure you get what you pay for !! Plus the fact that we are now left with more lawn problems than we had before read more

Knowledgeable service with a smile, and at reasonable prices too! We have been satisfied customers for nearly 50 years.

I've had Superior Services at two houses. I consider their pest control side of the business to be pretty good. No issues there at all. The lawn and ornamental services have not been good. Seems like every time a tech showed up they didn't have the chemicals we needed for the house. Was told every time they'd get it on the next trip. They also don't service all the houses in the neighborhood on the same visit: seems to me there are issues with managing that side of the business. I'd say they are good on the pest side, but a no go for lawns and ornamental services. read more

We've dropped them after several years. They were good at first but now it seems we get a new guy every couple of months. We noticed the weeds were thriving after treatments. When we called to have a supervisor come out and talk with us, it took a week and half before anyone could give us 10 minutes to see our issues. That's unacceptable. I was home during the last treatment and watched the guy spray a 6 ft path across 15 ft of grass. He even missed portions within that 6 ft! Small wonder the weeds thrive and the grass doesn't ever grow like it's been fed. I'd rather pay a bit more and know the job is done right instead of tossing money out the window. read more

I am not pleased with the service provided today. To start, I have a contract with this company for pest control and lawn care but after today I will not renew that contract. I added the irrigation after a salesperson from the company (which knew I had 11 zones) convinced me to add the irrigation to my service. I was informed that the start up was 295.00 and they would come out and check all my sprinkler heads and adjust them. If there were any broken they would be fixed. I double checked with the company if this was correct and they agreed it was. The earliest they could come out was two weeks after I paid the fee. Today they came out, one girl did not know about the system (she was in training). The other individual stayed on the phone after the girl in training informed her I had 11 zones. so for 25 minutes I stood there waiting on them. Then I was informed because I had more zones than 5 it would be more money. I was never informed when I purchased that they would only check 5 zones, so I told them since they had done nothing to refund my money. She stated her supervisor said since it had been over 3 days since I paid they would not refund. I explained that they could not come out with in 3 days. So for 295.00 the company has lost any business. Worst experience ever! Do not use this company read more

I just bought my house in Florida I kept Superior Company because the family before recommended them I've been here a month and this company has canceled 3 times and not even a head up on not coming, they do no follow-up nor do they inform you if there has been a mix-up on time's I paid for a years service and it will be my last service with this company. read more

I tried their lawn care service for 2 years. I thought the killing off process was due to weeds so I hung in there, but after 2 years, almost all that is left of my lawn are weeds and dead patches. I wAtered when instructed to do so, and we watered during the dry season. When I called to tell them I wouldn't be renewing because of these issues, there was absolutely no concern, no questions asked. Just "call us back if you change your mind". I do not recommend this company for lawn care. read more
