Terrible service. This all started 5/27/26 when we hired Florida Pest Control to rid us a sudden mice problem. We signed a contract and paid $1570.12 for their services. Additionally, after they installed a garage door seal, we were to pay them an additional $422.44. They came out 6/1/26 and set traps in the attic and sealed various potential entry spots around the house and on the roof. They removed what they determined to be a faulty garage door seal and once removed, discovered the replacement they bought wouldn't fit. They left saying they would order the new seal and return the next week to install it. Almost every day since, the billing department called or sent an email to pay the $422.44 for the new seal. I explained every time they called, that they in fact had not yet installed the seal and that when they did, I would be happy to pay. Over the course of the next month, we set up appointments to return to check their traps (never caught any) and get that garage door seal installed and I kid you not, they stood us up 6 times! In fact, they stood us up more times than they actually showed. They were unresponsive to phone calls and once when we called the office, the person on the phone chastised us for not having checked the website scheduling system. However, even when we did check the appointment on the website, they also failed to show! Now, where they WERE prompt in calling us was the billing department! Still being billed (and threatening collections) for that garage door part we still did not have in over a month, we were told by an office manager that they had failed to order it and hopefully it would come the next week. They finally came to install the garage door seal but interestingly enough after working several hours on it, and discovering that it was too difficult for just two of their people to install, they said they might have to come back with a third. Rather than put it off for who knows how long, my husband ended up being the third person to finally get it installed. I promptly paid the $422.44 the next day, knowing once I paid it, we would probably never hear from them again, despite STILL having mice. My traps on the inside of the house were the ONLY ones catching anything, and frequent phone calls to the office manager, the tech, etc. were often neither answered nor returned. Finally, on 8/4/26, after not having seen a tech in over a month, my husband got a hold of someone and asked if anyone could come and check the traps and we were assured a tech would come the next day. Well, you guessed it, we got stood up again! So, on 8/6/26, my husband called and said that we were done---to just come collect their traps. Despite the fact we paid for a year of coverage, we no longer wanted them at our house. If we needed further pest control we would hire another company. Interestingly enough, the next day, it appears FPC contracted another Exterminator company to come collect the traps---they couldn't even send out a tech from their own company. So sorry to have hired and wasted so much money on them. Never again. In reading the other reviews, it seems this is an ongoing problem with their company. Don't know. Just know we will never use them again, and certainly never recommend them. read more

I just got my one year termite guarantee paperwork to sign. I was originally quotes $240 for an extra year of protection, now I get the paperwork and it's $480 for one extra year of protection. It also says there is no guarantee the pricing won't change without notice. I find it a bit odd that the price went up the couple of hundred dollars that was taken off to compensate for my hotel room. Ugh. I rue the day when I picked this company. No. I'll pay $400 a year for spot treatment rather than have these guys out every 7-10 years. Would not let them anywhere near my property again. How do they even stay in business? read more

Office "staff" set a new standard for incompetence. I've been a customer for over 11 years; my subdivision has had them under contract for much longer. On my first 3 attempts to schedule a service call their operators disconnected me. On my 4th attempt they claimed they had no record of me or our HoA. When I finally was able to shedule a service call I was informed they only have 5 HOUR WINDOWS... so stick your thumb up your ass and wait. At about 3 & 1/2 hours I called to see if they could give me an approximate ETA for tech. They said they'd send him an email to call me with it. Never heard from him bcause they never sent the email. At the 5 hour mark I looked out my window and saw a guy with a sprayer headed to his truck. Had I not gone out and asked if he was also here to serivce my property, he replied that he did have a service call but had the wrong name and address and was about to leave. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE HERPES!!!!! THEY SUCK BIG TIME!!!! read more

I've been a lawn&house customer for years. The only issue is they constantly arrive on short, short notice or unannounced. I've asked their office people, salesman and the people that arrive to do the work to call with a 4/5 day notice because I NEED TO BE HOME when they arrive. This simple request is ignored time after time and it's gonna cost a customer. If getting a voicemail at 6pm saying they'll be arriving tomorrow morning works for you then this is a good company. If you need to schedule service at your convenience ( not theirs) this company sucks . I can't make it any clearer! 4/5 day notice or don't come at all. Jack&Molly Coyne read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I hired Florida Pest back in May 2021. When I did the service for the house I also did it for the Fire Ants in my lawn. They stated the service was good for a year. About 5 months in and The ants came back. I called and asked what could be done and they stated that a tech would come out and retreat at no charge. Well no one came out and after two weeks I called again and again until a week later someone finally came and treated the lawn. This happened a totally of 4 times. Each time the ants came back I would call and get the run around. On the finial time I called and canceled my service because I was so angry nothing was being done. I requested that I have a refund because The service that was offered to me was not done. They again gave me the run around. Well I currently owe then $85 dollars and they are now threatening to send it to collects because I have not paid. I explained to the Ocala Manager to wave the bill and they would not have to refund me. But I know as soon as I pay that bill I will never receive any communication in regards to the refund. They have horrible customer service and they do not want to make anything right. They are just out for money. read more
